Streets of Willow Clockwise - 2023-01-22 - C5 corvette - Chase lap catching a spinout and a PB lap

Got out at Willow Springs with Extreme Speed track events on 1/22/23. It was a particularly cold track day, having had freezing temps the night before and 16+mph winds picking up around 4am. The track never really got up to temp and a lot of us were fighting to find traction all day. In the end I was able to click off a PB of 1:27.24 (although gopro timing had it at 1:27.11 but eh whatever) and I still had a good time, which is mainly what I'm in it for!

I was out there in a different run group. The 1st session was challenging with the grip. It definitely got better as the day wore on.

Yeah i struggled with grip in the morning and then the afternoon. There was a brief reprieve around 11 from the wind but in general my tires never got up to full temp.

Stock motor. Coilovers and sway bars and Delrin bushings + Cadillac brembo brakes and z51 rear brakes.
