I'm using the third method, the storage didn't increase even after the new email backs up all the pictures. But when i try to delete the pictures from my old account, it's not deleted in the new account. So is it safe?
doesn't works... if you delete the photo in the first accout, it deletes on the second too

Yes... But the problem was shared via link. Sharing directly to another user works....

After saving it to my other account, how do I know it’s been saved because my storage value hasn’t changed even though it says it’s backed up
It takes a few minutes for the storage to be updated. Try disconnecting the other account and see if you still have their photos.
will the videos be also saved?cause i can only see my photos not videos

Thank you for the great video. I just bought a new android phone and would like open my google photos there. But here is 3 important things I would like to do:
- Create a new gmail, move the data from my current gmail to the new gmail
- Change my plan from the free 15gb plan to a more storage plan
- Change the back up settings from Storage Saver to Original Quality
My question is what are the order of these steps? considering I don't want to risk losing any data from my old phone.
Please help as this is a special complex case.
1. Create a new Gmail account
2. Install and open Google One (where you can purchase additional storage)
3. Open Google Photos (ensure the new account is selected)
4. Change from the storage savor to the original quality
5. Import photos using the third way in the video
@@mks-mobile Thank you for the prompt and thorough response! one more question please, when I transfer my data (photos and videos and google accounts) using Smart Switch for Samsung, Won't that make the photos and videos on the Google Photos duplicate (new phone)? meaning it will back up a copy from the new gallery app and also restore the copy from the Photos app. it is very confusing
