Surah Ya-sin sometimes spelled as Yaseen (in Arabic text: يس‎) is the 36th chapter of Qur’an and has a total of 83 ayat or verses. It is classified as a Meccan surah. There are unlimited Surah Yaseen benefits in this world and the afterworld. Above all, one of the best chapters of the Holy Quran in fact, known as the “Heart of the Holy Quran”.
Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said:
“My heart desires that Surah Yaseen should be present in the heart of everyone of my ummah.”
Surah Al Mulk (Arabic: سورة الملك) is the 67th Surah of Quran composed of 30 ayat (verses). It is classified as a Meccan Surah titled in English as “Sovereignty” or “Kingdom”.
In this Surah the basic teachings of Islam are briefly mentioned. In a most effective way, people are made to realize that the universe in which they live is a well organized and fortified Kingdom in which no fault, weakness or flaw can be detected no matter how hard they may try. This Kingdom has been created from nothing and brought into existence by Allah Almighty Himself. All of the powers of controlling, administering and ruling it are also entirely in Allah's hands . This system is not created without purpose and people have been sent here for a test. In this test they can succeed only by their righteous deeds and conduct.
It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (PBUH) said: “A Surah from the Qur’an containing thirty verses will intercede for a man so that he will be forgiven. It is the Surah Tabaarak Alathi bi yadihi’l-mulk [i.e., Surat al-Mulk].”
