The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an open world action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the fifth main installment in The Elder Scrolls series, following The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 11, 2011.
The game's main story revolves around the player character and their quest to defeat Alduin the World-Eater, a dragon who is prophesied to destroy the world. The videogame is set two hundred years after the events of Oblivion, and takes place in the fictional province of Skyrim. Over the course of the game, the player completes quests and develops the character by improving skills. The game continues the open world tradition of its predecessors by allowing the player to travel anywhere in the game world at any time, and to ignore or postpone the main storyline indefinitely.

11:17 -11:58 it's things like this that make me think Sheogorath isn't evil at all. He knows his realm and how to rule it fairly. Of course he's insane but he's not really malevolently insane. He stands more between neutrality and benevolence. He wants to do good by his people and others but sometimes he doesn't seem to know how because he's crazy. Hence why he does terrible things at times like tear apart a woman to create musical instruments. It makes me feel really bad for him honestly.

Sheogorath has done some pretty evil shit, like when he gave one of his artifacts (Nevcresant if im right) to a Aspiring Orc Hero and it caused him to butcher a Innocent orc woman, I would consider Shaogorath to be Chaotic Neutral at best to be honest

Maybe a talented modded could somehow apply it to skyrim for now, unfortunately it’s far beyond my level to make such a thing

Skyoblivion is going on from 2016 till now and they have done a lot of stuff.. a year more and I think it will be out .. sad part was the one who was leading the project had a really big tragedy recently so he stopped working for months but now they are back and .. stronger .. you can watch his interview in ign.

I loved this DLC for Oblivion. The Dark Seducers and Golden Saints were sexy, but very powerful daedric summons during the main story.
I thought it was part of the game not a dlc

These ladies have some of the best aesthetics, both in general appearance and armor, in the game/franchise.
But why are they asthetically based on the Chimer Dunmer?
Fudge only said high elves cause he has no memory of the Chimer which is what the Dunmer were before they were cursed by Azura

The Golden Saints were always a source of the best enchantments and money for my Nerevarine in _Morrowind..._
And they make quite good protectors although I kinda like Dremora better, sure they arent as pretty but I just find them more intimidating for my charachter so I summon them instead whenever I need assistance in battle.
That and the Drem are slightly easier to summon.

I always found it interesting that the "auriels" called themselves that, being that akatosh is known as AURIEL by the high elves..is there a connection maybe?
Different spelling. Golden Saints are Aureal.
The aurorans are the dremoras in service of the daedric prince Meridia. Were the soldiers of Umaril the Unfeathered, Ayleid sorceror-King half mer half god, as he was the chosen of Meridia. He was defeated by Saint Pelinal Whitestrike during the nedetic slaves' rebolts and the Alessian Revolution.
The golden saints are not related to these dremoras. There's a confussion because "The Golden Knight" is the Champion of Meridia during the second era. He wears a golden armor similar to the Auroran one.
And no. There's no evidence about the relation between the Aurorans and Auriel.

Daedra are chaos. Sheogorath is the embodiment of chaos. This is why any Daedric Species could justify being his ally. It's also what makes him so powerful.
No he is the embodiment of Insanity and disorder. He is the counterpart to Jyggalag. Who is the prince of logical order and deduction.
All the princes could represent chaos, but if I had to pin chaos to one specific prince it would be Mehrunes Dagon when it comes to violent chaos, or for chaos in general term I would say Sanguine.
@Francis Harkins Chaos is defined as a complete lack of order, though. It can manifest in many different forms, certainly, but Sheo's sphere over disorder strikes me as the purest form of chaos. Change, destruction, and revolution, while associated with chaos, and for good reason, differ from it in that they can still be controlled to some extent. I don't think Dagon fits the bill as well as Sheo, in that regard. As for Sanguine, I'd put forth that debauchery and general hedonism, while disorderly through the lens of society, are neither all-encompassing nor patternless enough to really qualify as true chaos. No one can be sure what lies in the mind of a madman, but a drunkard is much easier to predict.
@@francisharkins Mehrunes Dagon is more wild freedom and rebellion and a fixed cycle of destruction. This is in opposition to Molag Bal's sphere of domination and control.
Sheogorath is chaos and insanity. Randomness and whim. In opposition to Jyggalag's compulsive logic and order.
The real question is, who do you prefer: the kind Mazken or the beautiful Aureals?

Incidentally, Golden Saints are the most convenient souls to use for constant effect enchantments in TES 3: Morrowind. :)
Maybe they served Sheogorath when he was Jyggalag and they just stayed with him. They are very organized and maintain order in the Shivering Isles. Seems to fit the Daedric God of Order.
They also make good enchantment juice, best renewable source of souls in all of Vvardenfell.

I think it's very interesting to think about what's going on during the Shivering Isles expansion. Why isn't ol' Sheo too nutty to even help you? Simple. Since the Greymarch is coming, he is going..sane. lol

The Golden Saints' Golden Longsword was always one of my favorite weapons in the game. Second only to Dawnfang/Duskfang

Pa ul true, i forgot about the Crusader set. I dont love the wings on the helm but other than that tiny detail i ADORE the armor. Partially cuz its one of the most authentic looking sets which i prefer in medieval settings
I went to the Madhouse once. After entry, I met a Dark Seducer. It transformed the landscape from a grassy knoll into a blue and red field. While walking through the field a blue square jumped up and turned into 500 snakes, each with 7 half heads. The snakes started dancing while spitting rocks made of clouds. As the clouds evaporated they became raining spoons, each spoon filled with dog hair. As the spoons rained up into the sky the dog hair flew away, mooing all the while. I'm not too sure what happened next, somehow I ended up back in the mortal world with a note from Sheogorath. The note congratulated me on what I did with 2 and a half barrels of carrots, a paintbrush made from rocks with bristles of lead, a flying sheep-hare named tulop, 54 cups made from 54 kinds of cheese, a white sheet large enough to cover Nirn, an ocean of butter, and for some reason 3 rubber bands. I don't remember what happened, and I'm not sure I want to.

Pretty sure you could make a strong case for the fact that they serve the order which is bound within the mad God, since his madness is only a twisted form and you dont see dark seducers or golden saints in skyrim once he escapes his madness

you got prety close to it at one point, one of the deadra puts it rather simply during the shivering isles questline
they serve sheogorath because he gave them a home, when the two races were wandering the waters of oblivion he called out to them and offered them a permenent place in his realms when no other prince would, the irony of ironies that the prince of madness offered them something few other deadra have, stablity, most other deadra return from the waters of oblivion whenever and wherever they can id the deadric realms meaning a dramora could potentaily end up anywhere from the depths of apocrapha to the shining realms of azura when they return from the waters, the wellsprings offer the saints and saducers a guiding light in the waters and always draw them back home
