This is my Pantheon Week 3 Guide. How to beat Rhulk in pantheon, even if you've never raided before! I give loadout recommendations, etc. Hope you enjoy.

I'd skip any copy about the handyman being 'airplane friendly' in the future. From first hand experience it looks like a taser under the x-ray for carry on and they're likely to full your bag for inspection.

my team used div + 5 TLords for Rhulk just for simplicity sake so we didnt have rockets flying off into nowhere, we got worlds 69th this week (not kidding)

Ik thunderlord is a meme at this point, but honestly I 100% recommend it for rhulk if you struggle with rockets. It is a very consistent dps weapon and we managed to beat rhulk with 30 seconds left.
Also if u add boots of the assembler to a warlock, that same 35% that lumina provides will be here too with less effort and no need for exotic weapon slot beyond thunderlord

Honestly whisper has been the move for both oryx and Golgoroth. Easy 1 phase if not then a joke of a 2 phase
Also for oryx if anyone has trouble with the thrall getting in the way highly suggest going on the steps you do dmg to daughters, it makes life so much easier
For someone who wants conditional finality, this is an amazing guide. For someone who never had enough people to play a raid, this is overwhelming AF and probably won't even try going for it.
Yeah, pantheon is not for you then. I suggest using LFG to farm nezzy whenever it’s farmable :)

Recommendation pick a hunter with divinity to walk in circles around rulk it will keep rulk stationarity

The difficulty spike from last week to this one is insane. Combined with the arc surge basically making everyone have even worse survivability than they would... Shit took me 6 hours. Last week took me 2 coz Solar not only gives insane survivability but the dps options were all so free.

With regards to the Lumina strategy, why not run a Warlock with Boots of the Assembler and empowering rift? They could drop the rift in a safe-ish spot once damage starts and them just keep sending out Noble Seekers
Lumina Buff Lasts 10 seconds, Assembler only lasts 5, UNLESS it refreshes a Lumina buff. If anyone is in a well of radiance, Assembler seekers will not track to those players.
For Fireteams with a lot of Hunters, we had a lot of success having one Storm and two Star Eater Golden Guns. With the extra orbs basically everyone was able to get off two supers in every damage phase.

@@romanbloomfield9066 starters imo seems to be more consistent for me in getting plat as everyone gets benefits from the exotic to an extent where it does help dps. To theirs their own though, celestial is better for oryx imo

Or if you waited can you just do week 1 and choose it? I have all the other raid exotics.
Honestly for anyone having trouble because of the second Rhulk, just assign someone on your team as a decoy who just baits the second rhulk around on one side of the map and have them call out if the second Rhul starts going to someone else.
I only need the high score for planets do I have to complete it during the timer or just as long as we kill tormentors we still get the high score?

If you are going to tell people to use rockets for oryx, at least tell them to just make them overload and use the best one they have (not just stasis or arc). In activities that have surges, all anti champ weapons get surged.

@@baileybo5201 the anti-champ perks state that such weapons are only overcharged "when that modifier is active", i.e. when the corresponding champion type appears in an activity

But on Pantheon - I’d love to have given at least level 1 a shot but I have such little raid experience I know it wouldn’t have gone well.
I have less than 50 total clears across all D2 raids and I’m sure a few of those (particularly VoG) were boss checkpoints with my clan/friends.
I’m not big into collecting stuff and the emblems don’t really mean anything to me (though some do look pretty cool). And I know I definitely wouldn’t be getting the Title or anything.
I do hope Bungie brings this back at some point, maybe even in its own playlist, as it looks like a good challenge even if I don’t see myself doing it anytime soon.

Lol Week 1 and 2 we had not 1 but 2 noobies whom have never raided and we simply taught them the fights... full clears in just a fuzz over 1hr and that WITH teaching the 2 scrubs... there's really no excuse, get out there, find a group and go at it!

Can someone explain why the dunkers need to do a countdown before dunking?
cause after you dunk, the symbol changes as soon as bubble shrinks.. its about 5 seconds.. so if you dont call out, other guy might be more than 5 seconds late and the symbol will change in his totem.. he will die cause he submitted wrong according to new symbol spread..

Considering the exotics come as a reward from Arcite at the end for completing Shaxxs QUEST and the quest says "complete encounters" and nothing about score... I'm gonna have to say no, Plat means nothing, just clear that shit and you got your free exotic weapon choices.
People really need to actually start reading the quests and such, words are important and it's all clearly spelled out for you, you just need to read and comprehend things...

@@kars7181 non platinum drops adept as well as far as I have seen... atraks has been a pain in the ass to do plat.. this week it didnt count on our first clear so we went back and did a CP clear later.. but I got adept stuff from atraks nevertheless..
I feel like i need to be a charity case and desperately want a clan or group to help me through this. Between jumping to rhulk and planets i couldn't get a team to finish either encounter. I know i can do it with a good team. Lfg isn't working.

Honestly this is the only time being elitist on lfgs isn't toxic. I joined a group who were checking raid reports and cleared all plats in under an hour.

You shouldn't be in pantheon is if you don't know all roles/strats especially at -15 and -20. No one's being gatekept out of content

My guy, it took me 104 runs of Vow to get it and it's just a really niche Graviton Lance. Basically only somewhat useful on Gyrfalcon's and even then I find myself just switching to Graviton coz it's just so much easier and better to use
Wait...why not use precision weapons on Golgoroth and Oryx...especially Oryx. I can somewhat understand Golgoroth since sometimes Gaze holders can be troll lol. Oryx is so free to hit crits with though....I'd imagine it's just better.

No you only need to do the quest from shaxx: defeat golg, care, planets, atraks, oryx, and rhulk. Can chose exotic at end if you complete this quest. Grab quest on all characters in case you change characters during encounters

We are months away from it being nerfed. When something is super popular, successful, and easy to get Bungie gives it a little time and then nerfs it into the ground. As soon as they had that quest in the tower to get Starfire Protocol I knew its days were numbered. I give it like 3 months.

Nah, it's just that the people who are invested in the game enough to care about this already have other like-minded friends, and as such don't lfg. My team has been doing em all in an hour so far, but we just only play with eachother and no one else. None of us are content creators

Don’t use arc/stasis surges on your boots because they do not stack with the surges that are already active this week.

Correct... a free activity modifier that adds a 25% boost to one element DOES NOT STACK with the 25% boost provided via Surge mods... the activity modifier is a FREE set of 3 surge mods without having to have them equipped...
Same goes for.. let's say it's Solar Surge AND Sniper Surge, if you runa Whisper then it will ONLY get a 25% boost from one of the surges not both as they are the same tier of buff and everything within the same tier does NOT stack with eachother.

u can get non plat and still get the quest done, destiny is a shootet mmo theres plenty of other things you can do if you cant do these things. Theres nothing wrong with end game pve. The title is just for show and a good requirement for day 1 raiding other than that you dont need to go for plat unless you want the adept weapons but at that point your still getting them way faster than waiting for a specific raid to go on rotation and its easier
