There are only few people can sing this song, I mean like singing it with their pure feeling. For years i never thought there's someone could sing this song as good as Billy but now, i guess i was wrong.
It's funny that a few months after this Jason sang the national anthem at the Detroit Lions Thanksgiving game. Joey Harrington was the Lions starting qb at the time and can be seen in the video of the performance on youtube.
@bibbisbibbis it's all cool that bily joel made this, Jason mraz did get help singing this, but he sung in the style that the crowed would like it, a younger audience, they don't understand good music unless it had been altered a little bit, This was done perfectly through my eyes, he is going to be a legend
Jason Mraz is a real talent. so diverse and has the courage to cover classics like Piano Man, Rocket Man, and one of my all time favorites-In the Name of Love, by Kenny Rankin. He does them all very very well. His original stuff is great too. Too bad there are such narrow minded people who get themselves incensed over something they don't care for. If you don't appreciate it, move on-but please don't attempt to ruin it for those of us who do like it.
@iChooseToBeHappy Everyone can sing and everyone who sings passioned is a great singer, even if he doesn't hit any note. I love people singing, when they love, what they do. Jason Mraz is singing with more passion than almost anyone I ever heard PLUS he has an awesome range of notes. He is just an inspiration for each musician on guitar and vocals. Don't compare people, let them be.
@bibbisbibbis there aren't any modern music legends, rock, nobody does what anyone from the 1900s had done with rock, jazzz country aren't even modern, Mraz has an amazing voice, these days people auto tune their voice. Mraz has an amazing voice, he is a modern legend,

@Gupmastermike I've seen them playing on stage together quite a lot, seems they are friends.I am 99%, that is john popper hanging out at the club with mraz; has the look, voice when he was talking at the end, and played a little harmonica.Good eye/ear! :)

Not only say "What is awesome about this?!", so nobody can understand what you meant by saying this.
