The DSL 1 “will it chug” convinced me to get the DSL 20. Really happy with it, also worth noting it takes pedals really well. Using it with a 5150 OD and it sounds great. Creates loads of options.
I got the DSL 20 combo because fuck having to carry a head and a cabinet. Everyone says the 40 is the best combo you can probably get but that is way too heavy for me so I'll just stick with the 20 and do a speaker swap. I swapped out the speaker for the celestian cream back

It's alway nice to get a little reassurance when a better, more knowledgable guitarist gives a thumbs up to one of my loved amps. I have the Marshall DSL20 in a combo (1x12") and I just love the metal sound; plus, the 'classic gain' channel gets pretty darn clean, when needed. I look forward to your review!
I got the DSL20 back around January, and man it is so friggin cool. Been using it through both the matching 1x12 and a Marshall 4x12. It's been my general do it all amp - the clean channel on it is beautiful, and the ultra gain is glorious.
I was actually thinking about buying it and I'm curious about 2 things: can you play it quietly enough to not bother the neighbours and how well does it take distortion pedals?
@@oskarwroniewicz You won't need any distortion pedals. I run the MXR 6 Ban EQ in the FX loop as well as the TS9 in front. Connected into the Marshall 2x12 Cab and it sounds fucking killer! I also bought the RIVERA Rock Crusher Attenuater so i can play it on the High setting so it's more full sounding. I don't have much experience with other amps as i am still a bigger but i love this amp!
@@patricklong9227 I know it has enough gain, that's not why I would use distortion with it. I just love my VH4 pedal copy and I would like to have an option of using it with the Marshall, either into the clean channel or into the FX loop return like I do now with my Blackstar HT5

My wife got me a 2019 Epiphone SG 400 pro for Xmas. It’s an amazing guitar. I’ve played Gibson SG’s an Epiphone I’ve got to say is a little bit better, not by I own one know but it really does. She’s got me 3 now and SG is fav of mine now. I own 6 guitars and none are the quality of this SG. Must try one if u haven’t play one. I own an Android Note phone and purchased the Air Pods Pro, they work with Android with no issues at all, Noise cancellation and Ambient Noise boost are not dependent on IOS!
I've been using my Peavey Valveking, and my three Jackson Dinkys for nearly 10 year's now. I just bought a Jackson Kelley last February. Been using my Vox 847 Wah Wah for 18 year's now. So that's really it for me. In the studio I play through my producer's Peavey-XXX, which he actually bought for me, I've known him for 20 year's, he was my Guitar Teacher when I started out 20 year's ago, he's like a Brother from another mother. 😆🤘🏻
Seriously..... the new line of Marshall DSL is kick ass. I recently bought a DSL40 combo as my 1 and only amp to do it all and I really think it does it. Extremely versitile, affordable and sounds brilliant, even the OD2 channel with it gained out to 'flip' with a high output pickup will clean up really nice with the volume control. I can recommend it to anyone and if the Dsl100 head is good enough for Gary Holt then they've got to be good.
That neumann mic sounds so incredible, i have been falling in love with it ever since you started using It on your videos. At least for my taste is the best sounding mic of the bunch you have.
That made me really happy that you talked about the DSL because I just bought a used mint condition 100w version back in the spring for $400. I thought it was a smokin deal and I love the way it sounds. I got a Boss SD-1 to go with it.
Hola Ola! The 2nd advantage of the klotz cable is that the amp stays silent when you unplug the guitar.I’d also add a link for the Neumann condenser.🤓🤘🏻😝 keep chugging
Ola allowed me to make a correction. The jack for the guitar is Neutrik and the switch is a patent for Neutrik. NO Klotz. I have 2-3 years that I have just taken the jacks of Neutrik and I took how many meters of good guitar cable and I made this cable myself.
For the guitar cable, I dont know the brand of mine, but I've had that kill switch thing on my cable since i've began playing guitar in 2008. I still use that same cable today
I do the same thing with my AirPods. One ear and one charges. I have the regular AirPods so no ANC for me but I still love them. I’ll eventually upgrade to the pros. Great video as always Ola.

I love the AirPod pro. I just recently got myself a pair last week. Was very hesitant at first cuz of the price, but after using them for the week. I don’t regret get them at all, highly recommend them.

Bought a Planet Waves cable and lasted a few hours. Bought Yorkville and it broke just under 4 years of use... it was fixable though as I can screw off the jack, just needed to solder the jack back to the rest of the cable.
Finding your channel was the best thing that happened to me in 2020. All your undercover Solar commercials also gave me a reason to buy a Solar Guitar very soon. I just need to loot some more corpses, so i can throw my money at your company! Keep it up in 2021, i will always be a happy viewer !!

That klotz cable has been around for ages! Have one for years. Great cable! actually the one with 90 degree angle is even better so you can route youre cable through your strap more easy.

Thanks again to Ola for being the first one to make me aware of the Empress Effects Heavy pedal. Since I added it to my rig a month ago it has replaced all my other distortion pedals (I sold them all). The combination of the Heavy with my Blackstar LT Dual boost pedal gives me seemingly unlimited tone shaping capability.

The Plug an your Klotz-Cable is made by Neutrik and is called "Silent Plug". You can find it on various other cables ... but Klotz Cable sound great !

That cable design is same as BOSS WL-20. It has a switch you need to push in to make it work.
