I believe that in society, the more hearing people who know sign language, the less communication barriers The Deaf will face in their lives, and the more deaf-hearing inclusion can be promoted.
Because in teaching, I encountered students who are hard of hearing & deaf, I started to learn Hong Kong Sign Language (HKSL). But the major difficulty, that I encountered when learning sign language, was learning about 60 signs per lesson. The course notes only have the textual meaning of the signs, and there is no relevant image/text description of how to make the signs, so that when reviewing, I often forget how to make the signs and need to spend a lot of time to look up the sign language dictionary.
In view of this, I hope that my self-study videos can help all sign language learners to recall their memory and reduce the pressure of learning sign language. But since these videos are my self-study videos when I took the elementary course, they do not have gorgeous pictures, only simple signs, and there may be errors in the content, for which I apologize!
**This video is only for auxiliary purposes, hoping to evoke the memory of learners, and cannot replace formal sign language courses. Different deaf groups in Hong Kong may have their unique signing styles. Therefore, if you’re interested in learning sign language, I recommend joining formal sign language courses offered by deaf organizations.

香港每個聾人團體的手語，都各自有其特色，打法上會稍有不同。作為手語學習者，我會選擇尊重聾人團體的文化，所以我希望可以多學習同一意思，但不同打法的變體手語，方便與不同團體的聾人溝通。
這系列的手語片都是，在2023年2月份，我學初班時的自習片，內容都是根據該課堂所學而自拍的。在溫習時，我會跟隨影片打出手語動作。
