Many Many Thanks. I am from Bangladesh đ§đ© & also a high school teacher using Camtasia free version :-(
Thanks. You have great lighting right now. Could you show a behind the scenes of exactly how your lighting is setup to achieve the lighting as you are standing right now? With photos or video.
Hi Robert! (Andy here). We don't have full pictures of it all set up unfortunately, but I can say, on top of the three-point lighting, we also have two separate "wall-wash" lights to light my background wall separately. Three-point lighting only covers your subject/talent. And we do use them just as we show: Key light, fill light & hair light. The only additional lights are for the back wall. And we use the big Kinoflos (link in description) to light the wall fully and as my key light. I use Fiilex Led lights (couldn't find a decent link, they're older now) as my fill & hair lights.
@@techsmith Thanks. So the wall lights are what makes the background match the look of the talent. Great Thanks.
Don't you technically have that explanation of color temperature reversed? Even the chart you display shows that the higher the temperature, the bluer the light.
Not sure what you're saying is 'reversed'...the color chart is correct and Andy didn't say "higher or lower" he said "warmer & cooler" describing color, not kelvin numbers. Did we miss something?
@@techsmith I guess when talking about temperature, the hotter something is, the closer it gets to white. So yes, in relation to color generically, blue is a cool color and red and orange are warm colors, but when it comes to heat is the measurement unit, blue is actually hotter.
@@WilliamSteppan I see what you mean now. Apologies, weâre not talking the actual heat the light produces, but the visual appearance of whether the light looks warm or cool.
@@techsmith Iâm not talking about the actual heat either, but the color temperature.
Hello, TechSmith. I received an advertising proposal in my email box with the name of your company and channel, is this true?
Doesnât sound like something we sendâŠmake sure it looks like it came from a legitimate TechSmith.com email address.
