- Been planning to finish this edit for the last three years, but never seemed like the right time. I'm glad I didn't do it until now because the 100th episode of 9-1-1 finally confirmed our thoughts about Buck's sexuality and I just love how he's finally getting to explore that side of him after not being able to for the longest time.
Seeing him all giggly with this new crush he has on Tommy is absolutely the cutest thing ever and I hope he's this happy for the rest of the season because he truly deserves it.
But anyways, before I go into another rant about how much I love Buck, let me say that this is a video for all the people who like him or see themselves in him and I hope it brings a smile to all of your faces.

There are also cases where a story is officially released in more than one form of media (like LOTR, Harry Potter, Games of Throne, One Piece, etc or go through a remake which then gives you canons that are more specific to each media. For example some things that are canon in the MCU might not be in the Marvel comics.

As Oliver himself said, Buck kept latching on to different things throughout the seasons, different personalities, hobbies, friendships, relationships, and that can be/is indicative of someone who is not truly comfortable with/aware of who they really are, and is still trying to figure themselves out. As a bisexual myself, this has been blatantly obvious since season 1, now its canon. Heck, I even did the same thing with constantly hopping from one straight relationship to another before I fully became aware of who I am, it just took Buck a little longer to figure that out, and that's okay. I'm so excited to see where this goes and how he develops.

My mom was a bit behind, so I just watched 7x04 with her knowing about Buck's bisexual developments and she was totally shocked. Didn't expect it at all and I just looked at her in amusement because they've been building this up for years. He was one of the fruitiest straight guys I've ever seen.

Aside from anything else I genuinely think Oliver Stark is a highly underrated comedy actor. I’m loving the fact that Tim apparently pitched Buck/Tommy to him as a rom com, not melodrama, Buck was a lot more playful in his early relationship with Abby than he was in his later ones.

Im pretty sure the writers didn’t intend to write buck as bi at the start, but the character just wrote itself. I’m glad that something quite accidental became canon. Also I can’t wait to see what they are gonna do with Tommy and bucks relationship.

Oliver has said Bi Buck was first pitched to him as an idea two or three years ago but they never went further with it, which means it was either Fox or the change show runner that stopped it happening. The show moves to ABC and Tim comes back as show runner and boom four episodes is all it took to bring Buck out of the closet. Fox cancelling the show maybe the best thing that ever happened to it.
It was the best thing to ever happen, since we wouldn't have been getting an s8 if this show was still on Fox

The fact that Oliver Stark confessed he actually wanted to play Buck as a bi character before season 7 + that he and Eddie actually read fanfictions and talk about them with each other. Gives. Me. Hope! Hope for Buddie becoming canon one day. T.T
So I assume that he acted on it accordingly in beforehand which would make sense, because that look and lip licking during 5:12 as well as many other Buddie scenes sure as hell would suit him as a bi character.

His character has had a lot of growth now but he started out as gym bro type with kind of an ego, who only sleep with woman all the time. There has just been no real hints of him being attracted to men or questioning his sexually at all. Usually in a show you might see two men/two woman who’s hands maybe get a little too close and they act strange or whatever. Something that shows that development. I get you’re not gonna see that in the real world. Anyone I walk by can be queer and I won’t know it. But this is a show. They gotta pull me into the story and make me believe it. And when there are no signs, the story just seems off.
The story line has started now though. So now that just gotta make us believe it!
