This is not my usual video. I’m usually focused on positive and happy things. What has you the most aggravated with Disney Star Wars ? I have a feeling there is more we agree about with the mishandling of OUR beloved ip. We, the decades long fans, built it.

You're not alone. I grew up with Star Wars. My brother and I both loved it. I never felt excluded as a female in the Star Wars world until KK hijacked it. Disney Star Wars is NOT for me and KK has made that pretty clear. She has made things so bad that I almost feel like I should apologize for being female. NOT all women are like KK, I promise. And heck ya, we have a right to be angry about it.
Oh yes exactly, I get the feeling to apologize for being a woman because these tourists are so shrill and condescending. That’s why I tend start with “lifelong female fan” when I comment on stuff. Part of the reason I made this video too. (They keep on, I might have to do part 2 lol). I’m hoping the male fans that have been crapped feel our support. that we know they aren’t ists, phobes and everything else. Also I hope they are seeing that other lifelong female fans are tearing up the acolyte hard on X.
It is pretty much the same with all other IPs. Women were always welcome in the fandoms, but the KKs of our day are exploiting them for power and profit. They shan't be getting either, and all fans, male or female, we are losing our favorite fandoms because of them.
It’s so frustrating. I was running out of time but I really wanted to discuss how being included into a fandom doesn’t mean you fundamentally try to change the whole thing. What if men took over Barbie and forced all Barbies to cut their hair and dress like GI Joe? What if men took over lifetime and replaced all the movies with sports coverage.? Do I smell another video? lol 😂

I'm with you. Fellow female here. I have been here since the OT was first in theaters (very little). I checked out when I saw how they advertised the Sequels. They put down the prequels. They cancelled (didn't just separate) the Expanded Universe. If you have to put down the original stuff to advertise the new, even behind the scenes, then something is wrong with the new stuff. That's insulting to the people that worked on them and the fans of them. We don't have to agree what's best - back then we didn't hate each other for the disagreements.
I love Star Wars. What I loved continued from 1976 (the novelization the year before the movie release) to 2014 when they announced their intentions. 🤨And to think. Lucas wanted to give us all 6 in 3D. I feel so cheated out of that!
Regarding they seek to destroy, I agree there too. But I think its also jealous. Star Wars the Old Republic era is still popular and they are jealous.

A few weeks ago I saw some say they were always outside looking in and been kindly asking to be included. I almost made my first rant on that. No no no we let everyone in. This is the person that came our sandbox and didn’t like the sand. So they brought in shitty dirt but act like we are evil because we just want our sand back. Then told us to leave because we aren’t wanted. But now our money is not going to pay for their shitty dirt any longer. They don’t have enough people with money to play in their dirt and keep putting more in.
Sorry I have analogies on the brain. I do sense the jealousy too!
They ruined everything for all of us, male and female. Instead of heroic characters going on imagination inspiring adventures, we have isms and ists. I think that activists like KK did it was out of jealousy.
@@sassy7766 They do seek to divide and demoralize us, those who own Disney do. There is no comparison between what our current Iron Age fellows do and the Disney schlop.

Watch the Bad Batch. It's definitely good. I didn't get any vibes of the Terminator's social justice nonsense in it. In fact the last season was particularly dark, it felt like old SW in a lot of ways. As a dad, I enjoyed and felt for Din, especially in the feels for the father/child elements of the story at the end of S2 and the last eps of S3 of Book of Boba Fett, and S3 of Mando. IMHO, Grogu is The Mandalorian mentioned in the title as much as Din Djarin.
I did like season 1. I just couldn’t go to season 2 after obi wan. Yes I have always believed the title Mandolorian refers to Grogu too. Especially based on the music played at the very last frame of him during the season 2 finale. However I thought he would be the first Mandolorian Jedi since the dark saber was created. That’s why I didn’t like Luke making him choose. No way would Luke’s new Jedi order would not allow attachments. He’s already attached to his sister. Plus George’s vision is that the refusal of attachments was part of the reasons the Jedi failed. No way in heck would Luke take that into the future.
Binx and I are normally here for JJ (and Kitaly) videos. However, as a fellow lifelong female Star Wars fan, I'm absolutely here for your rant. My beloved father, who passed away last year, took me, his teenage daughter, to see Star Wars in the theater in 1977. He was a lifelong SciFi fan and raised me to be one as well. My husband and I shared SW with our son via VHS tapes and then took him to see the PT in theaters. We bought him SW games , T-shirts, and toys. I DO NOT appreciate these new (supposed) fans calling three generations of males in my family derogatory and disgusting names. I also do not appreciate being told I have internalized misogyny (and am apparently an an ist and a phobe) because I love the OT. I do not like the majority of Disney SW, and I refuse to believe that fact makes me a terrible human being. I, as a woman, loved Star Wars when it was written by a man and for males.
PS Binx sends his love to JJ and Kitaly. He also sends his sympathies in regards to having to listen to the humans rant about Star Wars (Star Trek, Doctor Who, Indiana Jones, et al 😹). ❤️🐈⬛

When I watched the first Disney star wars-like movie, there was what Master Yoda said: "Hate leads to suffering." The activists who are running Disney now, they are full of hate and they are projecting it upon everyone who is not like them. The Prequels weren't ideal, but there were a lot of good in them still.
So much good in the prequels. I know it’s nuts but after 2020 I see why padme gave up. I won’t understand her leaving her children. However, she has found her husband helped to tear down the very thing she literally fought her whole life for. It was bad enough to see the emperor come to power. But to know Anakin helped in that and has used saving her as the catalyst….
The prequels did have many good ideas. The pacing of Anakin's story could have been done better across the three movies. We saw nothing of his training through his teenage years. How did his teachers deal with such a gifted force user - how do you train/guide someone who will ultimately be stronger in the force than you? We didn't see Anakin deal with being a teenager, which is awkward for everyone, with so much raw talent. I also feel it would have helped to spend more time on Palpatine's becoming a stronger father figure to Anakin than Obi-Wan. I also feel a scene showing the Jedi council forbidding Anakin from going back to Tatooine to visit his mother because of his strong attachment to her being in direct conflict with Jedi teachings of the will of the force taking precedence over any single person in a Jedi's life would have added to our seeing Anakin's growing disillusionment with the Jedi ways.
My being an OT fan doesn't mean I dislike PT. The six movies are a wonderful saga of the Skywalker family. :)
I’ve been starting to reply but struggling with my new phone a bit. That’s great points. Yeah the shills that weren’t born yet liove to claim the fans outright hated the prequels. But we lived through it and know that’s not true. Sure some people did but they didn’t have droves of people leaving like sequels and Disney + shows. It looks the three of us could talk all day about the og and ot movies!

They were out to destroy his character, just like they did with all legacy heroes.
