Can somebody tell me if the blush will disappear when the doll is washed? And is it okay to use the usual blush for makeup (not specifically for dolls)?
Answer (just in case anyone wants to know): 1.) Yes it will, as long as the blush used is a powder blush. Sometimes it will even disappear on its own after a few weeks, depending on the blush as well. Definitely don’t use the cream one as the liquid will be absorbed to the doll and the stain might be harder to remove. 2.) It’s okay to use the common blush as many people do.
It's not recommended to “wash” cotton dolls in water. Instead, use a fabric (cotton) cleaner to clean any dirty areas of the doll. Washing cotton dolls in water could potentially damage the texture of the doll's skin. And for the hair of the doll, if it's a wigged doll with long hair, you can use a normal brush to comb through it. Otherwise, you need to be very careful with the doll's scalp, and it's recommended to use a small comb.
@@julysgrocery I see, thank you for the info! I’ve seen a lot of cotton doll owners bathing their dolls in water, and some shared a tutorial on how to clean your dolls (which is to soak them, adding detergent or soap and such) so I was a bit conflicted.
