Rode the Norbert in 2017, beautiful place and glad you did Chateau Castelnaud in another video. When we parked in the car park and ready to pay at the meter, a local came up to me and told me the parking inspector was on holidays, so don't pay! Saved 7 euros, LOL

Incredible location. The houses are located between the precipice and the river. This view is wonderful, far from my daily life. Any of your videos are High quality and tasteful editing

Beautiful. I am so enjoying browsing your earlier uploads. La Roque-Gageac is another favourite place, although I stay usually a little way away in Rocamadour. The narrow ways above the riverside were once described by a french lady I spoke with as "un vrai paradis", a true paradise. She was not wrong. Just to the west of the village on the cliff tops overlooking the river are the gardens of Marqueysac. These "gardens in the sky" give wonderful views of La Roque. Once again your filming is of such great quality that I find myself wanting to get back once more and enjoy this wonderful region. Thanks once more.

I'm glad you liked it 😀. We used La Roque as our home base in the Dordogne region, staying at the Auberge des Platanes. Its a restaurant hotel with very basic accommodations - nothing fancy. I picked it primarily because it had onsite parking which most other accommodations don't. But after being there, both La Roque and Beynac have ample parking lots by the river - and I believe they were free. 👍

You have a good eye for locations Jim, very pretty place and the old stone buildings look great. Shame about the rockslide as the cliff dwellings (for lack of better words) have an interesting history and would be worth seeing if you could get there. River cruise looked like fun as well.
