Romantic Cavtat | Croatia’s Hidden Gem Near Dubrovnik, in 4K
The beautiful village of Cavtat is a hidden gem on the Adriatic Coast, offers Dubrovnik tourists a tranquil escape with natural beauty and Mediterranean charm. Named #1 honeymoon location by European Best Destinations for 2024, Cavtat is surrounded by lush hillsides, crystal-clear waters, and pebbled beaches, with wonderful restaurants and cafes. From June into September, it comes alive with festivals featuring street performances, dance shows and concerts. And when Dubrovnik’s accommodations are busy during high season, frequent connections into Cavtat can make it a relaxing alternative place to stay, with daytrips into Dubrovnik. Just a quick tip, after going around the tapestry first time we asked if we could go around again and they said fine, it wasn’t busy, we picked up new English audio sets and took it all in again.

Lindau is our favourite place in Germany, just beating Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Lindau is compact and so pretty but accommodation can be very expensive in high season. We’ve stayed at three hotels but of them the Seereich was best. I’d say 2 days to comfortably see it all, maybe 3 days if you take a lake trip, our favourite restaurant is the romantic and tiny Mediterraneo run entirely by one man.

Hello there! Glad you enjoyed my Kauai doors-off helicopter video. We flew with Mauna Loa Helicopters, on Dec 31 at 1:30PM for a 60-min flight. I chose that time of day, as the Napali coast would be no longer all shaded (as it would be in the morning). I like sun, although more serious photographers don't because it lends to higher contrast. I also read that clouds and rain can roll in mid afternoon. I saw posts wehere 10:30 AM was also good - recognizing the Napali coast would be more shaded.
