E1 Pela is also good in the current PF cycle since she regens energy when an enemy dies for any reason, great to use with herta and himeko to get the follow-up train going

@@IdeasAreBulletproof BROO imagine they add enemy thats when my allies takes damage i deal massive damage to the attack (basicly the destruction trotter). That forces to you use only single target cause if you go with IL or Jingliu you will probably die super fast.
So… I hadn’t built a single Erudition character up until this point, so I spent today throwing together a build for Herta… and good lord, she’s busted in this mode.
yeah, i had her at lv 60 for the free pulls with traces at minimum.
gave her my seele relics and spent the 240 of the day in erudition keys to get her to 8 on the kuru spin. gave her the BP lightcone since her signature was only at lv1.
she hits harder than Jingliu lmao.
How did you build her?

I really love how they’re bring in this new end game content that managed to bring more relevance to Erudition characters. Before erudition id say is the most underrated path in star rail. Now with this new mode, they’re brought to the forefront again😁😁😁
Enviosity is right; 1.6 is Erudition patch. They finally gave that path what they really need at SU, actual boss-killing power through Erudition Resonance.
finally seeing someone who also uses the excitation buff.. most streamers/content creators so far seem to disregard it as the worst of these buffs, but for me personally it for sure provided the most additional dmg... the two other buffs felt like they needed too much time to get going... that ofc might change if you have someone like argenti, but since i had to clear it with my usual hypercarry or dual dps setups - herta and himeko arent build on my account - this buff for sure did the most for me
I tried all of the buffs. They differ depending on what team you use
rupture is better if you have a well invested dps with energy gains.
i run it on the ice side where i use Jing liu+pela+herta+ruan mei.
you get so much energy with the constant OoT kills that herta gets to gepard and can nuke the big boys.
on the other side i run the excitation one, since i run kafka, and she doesn't get much out of the ult dmg buff since the little hand robots are the ones that spread the dmg around, and you oneshot them even buffless.
all 3 buffs are great depending on teams.

@@raulmaltrain6893 yeah like i said.. i can imagine if you own argenti e.g. and constantly spam ullts rupture can become real strong very fast, but playing with DHIL, jingliu, blade and jing yuan it did not feel like the other 2 buffs did much for me...
my point was that i have watched the runs of a few streamers/content creators and it seemed like they judged "excitation" as being bad after the first glance and did not give it any second thought at all, while for me having the initial shatter helped me quite a lot
First tip: build Erudition... looking at my top 2 DPS unit -JingLiu and IL Dan Heng ...
Herta eidolons gifted are only at E4, not E6, take that in consideration
I was going to say this. I picked her as my first main and got her to e6 only recently🥲 idk why most creators say we are given free e6.

@@laineysays i think many just don't realize that they might have gotten eidolons from pulls since it's not something people are ever particularly excited for, mine is still sitting at e5
Ruan Mei's passive break damage on top of other characters breaking enemies shield makes Pela and Luocha's ult x10 useful in this mode! I suggest you guys give it a try if you got those characters built!
I had to speed run building himeko, herta, and pela for this. Love that it makes us use characters we usually bench
Himeko literally carried my Pure Fiction. Gotta love that Pizza Cutter doing massive damage 😂. I usually put her on the side that was breaking more often. I only have 4 DPS built: Jingliu, Kafka (kinda) and Himeko, and Blade but still full cleared on Auto
This is why I started HsR. Not that im bored with Spiral Abyss, it's just that it gets repetitive, especially once u get the strong DPSs. HsR is very challenging to me, it has so much end game stuff lol
Both MoC and PF are good, PF makes some untouched characters becomes so much better
Thanks so much for recommending me to use herta. I just built a very low effort herta by using a few fuels (currently level 70/80 trace level 9/9/9 max eidlons) and gave her my Clara's relics (definitely changed the sphere. I wouldn't put a physical dmg bonus on her💀) an paired her with topaz and ruan mei. I've managed to get 1 star in stage 3 and 4 each. But after using herta i got 3 and 2 stars on stage 3 and 4 and i can probably get the last star by building her more
I loved the mode. It just felt too short. And the next one will be only in a month. But i loved the idea of that erudtion was underused, even though i had all of the erudition maxed out.
Excited for my E1S3 Himeko. She always gets the bonus from her LC. And I'm looking forward to the next updates

you only can pray for her to spook from off rate (that how I got her to E7 from permanent banner)...

Because I got her twice by pulling and when I unlocked the last SU world that gave a free Herta, I got the Starlights instead.. quite long ago so I might have misremembered tho
Edit: yea, it's E4. You get one from clearing SU for the first time, and by completing World 2, 4, 6 & 7.

She will never be featured in any banner, she's a guaranteed e4, so any banner with her will be so much wasted pulls.
I don't know how you guys doing, but I can't go further than the first map. This game mode is hard AF.
Argentine & Herta on each side of the team easily get me thru this event

Yeah Excitation buff was my save as well. Didn't think it would be that good, but literally gave me over 6k more points than the other ones.
So far still liking MoC more though. The thing with PF is it didn't really feel like the enemies mattered at all, since they almost never get to do anything anyway, or at least they won't if you're on course for 3 stars.
If you're not running sustains, then you might have to reset because of unlucky targeting. I had to reset a few times because the golden guys' AoE attacks shredded my team HP enough for Gepard's buddies to finish my guys off way too early, and iIalso had resets where the soldier advanced forward the exploding bot twice and it blew up my whole team. So they definitely still pose a certain amount of threat.
just a side-note. I think the game only gives us max e4 or e5 Herta. I've already cleared every SU difficulty and mine still at e5 - and I am pretty sure one eidolon came from standard banner.
Herta is good but what do i do when i dont have the resources to level her? How am i supposed to do it without her?

FINALLY AN EXCUSE TO BUILD HERTA
Wanted to get lynx for another healer but I can't do stage 2 ;-; I only have luka, sushang, gepard. Which characters should I raise?

Tip 1 felt like an attack because I havent invested anything to my Serval and Herta 😅
I found Pure Fiction considerably easier then MoC but it might be designed that way for the first showing of the mode.
I will say that I love that it certainly encourages a different mindset to basically any other content in the game and allows other characters to shine. There's certainly overlap in good characters in both MoC and PF but the focus of this characters are different.
Luocha for instance is very skill point positive in MoC but in Pure Fiction I was much more interested in his all enemie ultimate. Same thing with Fu Xuan. If, for whatever reason, you feel you need a sustain in PF they're your best options.
As for DPS with crossover potential: in PF Blade's follow up was much more useful then anything else in his kit.
TLDR: I like how Pure Fiction recontextualizes all the characters kits in different ways and I'm excited to see how the mode will progress over time.
herta is like S tier for the current pure fiction, i was struggling because i have no ice dps at all, then i just barely build herta with level 7-8 traces at level 70/80 and just slapped my seele relics on to her and run her as a hypercarry dps and she is able to clear it 40k.
I'm both glad and mad that Imma have to build my e3 himeko😗

@@TruePrinceagl Yes we can get eidolons from those worlds but only other Worlds that give eidolons are W2 and W4. So should only be E4 total from SU.
@@TruePrinceagl no, you can't.. you get your first copy of her after a trailblaze mission, then you get copies of her in worlds 2,4,6 and 7 - which brings her to E4
Seele is unexpectedly good. Like really good. With the current buff it's pretty easy to kill enemies with just the basic attack, twice each time she plays, and it's also advance forward 25% twice, a tone of energy, infinite SP. I used her (E0S0 but with good relics) with Serval sub to get 40k in the 4-2.
I second this, I didn't think to use her at first since she doesn't really match the weakness type and is a single target dps but she did better than my jingliu (and underinvested Herta) thanks to her resurgence talent. Hypercarry Seele is so far my only team to consistently get 30,000+ points on first half.
This video has made me regret getting silverwolf so much.
i just tried this gamemode for the first time and its actually the first time i actually build herta i love to see lots of dmg because of the goons dying 😂

first half: Pela, Ruan Mei, Herta, Jingliu

Did you manage to get 60k on the stage four? Ive been running the same teams but had bad luck so far only managed to hit 56k, probably since my herta isnt built but shes e6

How are you supposed to get E6 Herta? I only ever got her to E4, and I've done all the original Sim Uni stages.

actually no you get atleast four eidolons from simulated world not max is just easy to get her eidolon at the beginning so don’t worry

The only thing bad about this game feature; is if you haven't built/pulled any great elation characters, good luck getting those 3 stars on 03 and 04. 😭 I have yet to even get to 60K on either.
My only erudition 5 star is Himeko with s5 breakfast so I tried out both Jingliu and Seele in the first half and was able to get 30,000 points, Seele's team did better. You can also try Blade, heard he's really good thanks to his follow up hitting all enemies on the field, and DHIL can also do it. Though everyone gets a Herta, unless you already have a leveled up weapon, relics and good supports for her, you're probably better off using your already built dps characters.

Im able to use herta and clara to get 30k on first half but the 2nd half is soooo frikin hard, i have jing yuan with his sig LC but he doesnt do alot unlike kafka which is unfortunate.

As a F2P without Argenti and Jingliu, I have no choice but to play Jing Yuan, Himeko, E6 Hert and Clara.
Pure fiction. MoC is more focused on accomplishing within sets of turns but Pure fiction I’m not so focused on turns but more on taking enemies down.

I want to point out 1 wrong thing in this video, the game only gives us up to e4 Herta not e6. I have done everything up to date and mine is only e4 and I have not pulled a single copy from any banners
Destruction is still doing good in PF, but might be harder to get the full point than Erudition. But still for this cycle/period I think any character that have AoE damaging ult is pretty useful, if you have characters than have energy regen passive or skilll/ult (Tingyun/Huo Huo) they are also pretty convenient since ult spam is great for this cycle.
The only destruction that kinda falls off a bit is E0 IL I guess? Eba3 is too costly to spam & eba2 sometimes doesn't cut it.
Jingliu's still great because of extra turns with Bronya and can be paired with a 2nd dps like Herta/Blade/Himeko/and even Argenti.
Same case for Blade too, since this stage doesn't need that much concentrated dmg. More enemies also means he could trigger his talent more frequently.
@@LauderIX yes, IL and also QQ still lacking a support that can regen SP by a lot for now. Hanya isn't fast enough to catch up. Jingliu + Blade is the only duo destruction that's viable for this scenario I think.
@@LauderIX its because they barely can score 30k or more as hypercarries and the moc/DESTRUCTION BEST PATH culture used to sell them as best hypercarries, so a lot of people have only destructions builded and tried to hypercarry them
while also they can do averag clear as double carries, some other chacters and accs was builded to do it from the start, and double carry is more expensive, with that in mind, we got already have more chars than can easily either hyper, double and tech for PF so much better than every destruction chars
@@victorgoes7185 I wouldn't say barely. Hypercarry Jingliu/Hypercarry blade can easily score above 30k. If you're having trouble getting to 30k with *Jingliu* of all characters, that's just skill/gear issue. Even IL can get 30k on 2nd half quite easily.
Besides, PF doesn't even compare to MoC in terms of difficulty, MoC is still much harder. Characters like Himeko will struggle much more in MoC than IL does in PF. So overall destruction is still the best hypercarry.
Jingliu on 1 side and IL on the other, that's literally it. Works in both MoC and pure fiction.
My issue was my only options Clara / Jingliu didn't cover any elements on the second side, so I had to brute force it with Jingliu, and she struggled.
Could not get 30k for the life of me, but thankfully Clara hard carried side 1.
Usually the solution for this situation is just bring SW on the side I lack elements for, but she's kinda useless for PF.

I ignore most end game content. Too much effort and potential frustration. I just put my best teams, run it on auto, and accept the results. Cleared all 4 stages, though only got 8 stars.
Maybe cause im new, but all the little birds are locked, and i cant launch the shit. Im Equ 3 tho

I don't have a single erudition character built, I hate how I'm forced to build them. I can only get 1 or 0 stars on pure fiction it's so hard.
The only problem is that it’s only for higher level players. I had nearly built herta, but she does far WORSE than my dps EVEN in pure fiction, so is there a recommended level for doing it?
Pure Fiction is easy. So I prefer this ngl
just put everyone with aoe in the team, fire mc and gunaifen for example are good, just because the aoe and the break. also hanya was pretty good, because you can run 3 dps and using mostly their skills
asta is miles better than hanya here since asta's speed buff is party wide.
also, burden is wasted on mobs since they die to any decent dps's collateral damage.

Thx for the tip but I don’t have jingyuan, Clara, or argenti so I might only 2* the last stage for now.
Herta can tackle side 1 by herself + buffers, so if you can push side 1 score as much as possible, side 2 can be done with whatever dps that you have.
Selee JL IL can still slap this if u have those

Actually they didn't gave maxed herta eidlons. I think by now with world 8 of SU, we only have e4 or e5 (i don't remember exactly) but most people probably did get 1 or 2 herta from gacha so almost everyone have e6 but it wasn't free, it's luck dependent. But fortunately i have e6

they give us free herta at the start of simulated universe, then 4 more eidolons after clearing difficulty 1 of world 2, 4, 6, and 7
