    So excited to see you do this one! I'm not really a fan of this band, but I have always appreciated how the lead singer uses his voice. Would love to see more videos on music like this.

    Oh when you get past the "radio" hits and realise Daron is the brain behind it all.. makes it so much better.

    • @wolfgangengel4835
      @wolfgangengel4835 Před 3 dny +2

      Nope. If it's Daron who makes SOAD so great, why is it that SOB sucks so much?

      @@wolfgangengel4835 cause the genre is quite small? Daron is brilliant, but doesnt work wihout Serj..

      @@robertgagnfors8675 this doesn't explain what he asked. there is an obvious difference between what daron writes on his own and when the other members are involved. I don't think that statement is fair, especially when serj and even Rick Rubin has credits written all over their albums. daron isn't responsible for serjs delivery for many songs, and serj is even credited as a producer, arranger and writing the "strings" of many of the songs.

    I Love System of a Down and love Serj's voice. Would love your thought on these 3 live songs, you will be amazed and different side of how versatile his voice is *Serj Tankian - Elect The Dead Symphony feat. Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra live songs Gate 21 , Empty Walls and Lie Lie Lie* New subscriber, thank you for the reaction 👍looking forward to more.

    I am so glad you are getting in the react to metal songs game!
    Whether you react or just listen in your own time, I recommend Question by System of a Down 💜💜
    And if you would like to hear a song from a band that normally plays something heavier, but also has an incredibly beautiful song, I would recommend Field of Innocence by Evanescence 💜💜

    So many views, you're right.... but.... their song "Chop Suey" has almost 1.4 billion views at this time 😁🤘

  • @tomislavkosanovic1104

    Nice reaction. Their songs are fun and catchy, but what really sets them apart is Serj's voice and delivery. Check out 'Chop suey', 'Aerials' and B.Y.O.B.

      I thought serj was self taught? I did see him rock the philharmonic so maybe I'm wrong

    • @wolfgangengel4835
      @wolfgangengel4835 Před 3 dny +3

      Nope. He's not. YOu're just repeating an internet myth. Serj said otherwise in interviews. Serj is not trained vocally at all. He is an autodidactive. He teached himself to sing, and he used many wrong techniques. And not everything was good for his vocal chords. He never wanted to sing, he never saw himself as a singer. He said in an interview, that he was thrown into it, without really knowing what to do. He's very talented though, without a doubt. And god gave him an awesome voice.

    • @matchu.j
      @matchu.j Před 3 dny +1

      Yeah that's what I thought...his vocals are original...his cleans and vibrato are natural... once again if I I'm wrong correct me...I don't need to be right if I'm wrong let me know

    Great insight into the song really enjoyed it :) !
    Feedback if you're interested:
    regarding SEO and discoverability of songs on your channel. I just want to browse your channel videos to see if you've reacted to any other metal bands I enjoy. Have band names either in the video title, or their name(or the song name) in text on the thumbnail really makes that process easier. I just bounced off of the page because it wasn't easy for me to find the videos I'm interested in watching.
    Hope to see more metal on your channel soon :). Have a good one!

    It's wrong to review songs from the recording studio 🤣 You have to see and judge the original sound when performed live. I am sure you will change all your wow judgments about them during live you will clearly hear the vocalist's bad voice in a low tone 🤣
