The difference between Florida and places like Chicago and LA is we don't have gangs. I just left California and they're territorial AF because they are born into warfare. In Florida the beef is personal so if you stay in your lane most likely you will be good. At the same time tho everybody has a gun so before you get into it with someone you should assume they do.

It would be better for you not to say anything at all and instead just show the footage because people may get offended. You keep saying high crime and that’s why there’s so many cops, but living in this neighborhood WE are targeted and harassed by these cops that are supposed to protect and serve. It’s kind of hard to speak on something when your on the outside looking in. I'm born n raised in Melbourne and I can personally say the cops are very racist towards not only black people but people who live in poverty. Melbourne is becoming a ghost town. Downtown used to be sumwhat Poppin but not anymore. Cocoa and Rockledge are dumps palm bay is the only surrounding city that hasn't fallen victim to the same problems as Melbourne, Rockledge and cocoa. This whole area is something to be avoided not due to crimes or violence but the political scene here is very ugly and never works in favor of the people. Homelessness, overdoses, drug abuse all at an all time high due to the lack of community programs (that actually works) the programs that are operating don't do anything in terms on long term care the moral in these cities are low. It's a sad place to live. Can't wait to move. Then again I've had some of the most uniquely fun experiences of my life due to these "dysfunctions" in these cities.

You didn’t go to Eau Gallie aka EG, the city within the city. You didn’t show temp, up top/bottoms, booker heights, Arthur circle, circle Ave.. you really missed a lot of pivotal points to make this video “Melbourne Fl Worst Hoods” I invite you to come back and be guided be a real local and take a real dive into the community as a whole.

That being said, I'm moving to Melbourne as we speak, and i noticed a few things off the bat - homeless, clear drug problem, etc - but that's EVERYWHERE right now thanks to our failed drug policy, increasingly terrible economy for the working class, programs for addiction & education, etc. Glad to hear they're allocating a facility west of town to address some of these issues (Palm beach has had great success converting their old jail grounds for this function) but ALL of Florida is extremely racist towards their marginalized communities, I saw not one cop while driving to our new home a few days ago - not one - and am not at all shocked they fill the lower income areas with police presence. More like trying to put fear in the poor side of town. They themselves cops are the drug dealer.

I talked to the residents. Besides everytime we go over that coast we get pulled over.. you can’t hide that police profiling crap in 2023. I travel all over usa.. but only get pulled over in 5 places

I've travelled a good bit. Grew up in many cities, or just outside. Every city has it’s hoods. I personally know two people who killed other people here. I spent years in Jacksonville s well and for the most part it’s a great place, but they all got hoods. If you have drugs. You have a hood. I like you talking throughout. Much better than the silent drives. Thanks.

I moved here from San Bernardino. Not saying there aren't hoods in Melbourne but they are not at the same level. czcams.com/video/Oc3AQk7lgTA/video.html

It's very clean...something you want see in a so called *bad neighborhood*the people need to get sick and tired..unite fearlessly and stop the harassment..they are probably a tight knit community..not PERFECT but neighborly perhaps..and I emphasize CLEAN again..that takes a group effort..and I'm gonna be very straightforward..Black people are SUPER SICK of being targeted, profiled and worse. The powers that be create poverty stricken people's..that get so torn down that they do not care..but then you have the strong who suffer through unimaginable evil tactics yet excel in life.Basically..people need to be treated humane&those that don't get that need to be help FULLY accountable..and fortunately here lately..we are observing that part.
