- If Jesse Pinkman was charged for his crimes in Breaking Bad (2008) & El Camino (2019)
Jesse Pinkman is one of the three main protagonists of the Breaking Bad franchise, an ex-student of Walter White turned chemist, manufacturer and distributor alongside him. Had Jesse Pinkman been arrested after El Camino these are the criminal charges he would have faced.
Our exploration extends beyond fiction as we draw parallels to real-world scenarios. We examine cases of real-life criminals and their prosecutions, drawing on legal expertise to examine the likelihood of Jesse Pinkman's criminal activities leading to actual charges.
Breaking Bad is an American neo-Western crime drama television series created and produced by Vince Gilligan for AMC. Set and filmed in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

I had no idea Jesse was involved in the illegal manufacture of methamphetamines. One of those subtle details you miss on first viewing.

Killing Todd is self-defense because he held him captive
Todd wouldn't continue to hold him captive though I mean he would have no real reason to his boss was gone and he has no loyalty just goes wherever he can. Which if it weren't for Walt getting shot by his own trap and Jesse killing him trying to work with Walt and Jesse. So Jesse didn't need to kill him so that wouldn't be self defense. Sorry for the huge rant.
@@lemardeyoutubegod125Todd could've carried out his threat of going after Brock though.
only way jesse would cook for todd was if he was forced to do so and if he had not done anything todd might have been killed by walt or he would end up killing walt and todd wont just uncuff jesse and tell him he can leave now@@lemardeyoutubegod125
There was police coming, so no. Todd wasn't a threat anymore.
@@supernintendo182 To also be far as we was in El Camino the police were on their way in that direction so it could have been handled by them. I mean that wouldn’t go well for Jesse but still.
5:45 this is 100% self defense. Self defense doesn't just mean killing, it can mean using non lethal force. He also wasn't trespassing, because another resident told him he could go into the house.
He lied saying he was going to the toilet, gets caught by the owner of the house, is told to leave and then knocks him out
@@cinemacop the owner of the house who is visibly under the influence of meth and pointing a shotgun at him. He had a right to be there, was threatened with deadly force, and defended himself.
Has a right to be in a house that is not his and defend himself from the homeowner who has seen an intruder?
@@bobbobert9379 Under the influence of meth or not, private property laws still apply
yes because he was given permission to enter, if I invite a friend over and he pisses on my carpet I can't just point a gun at him and threaten him.@@cinemacop
An interesting thing to note:
Simply because we as the audience witnessed his crimes doesn’t mean he’ll admit or get charged for them considering he destroyed evidence.
Not the point of the video.
@@JKBDTS
...I get that...
The point of the video is quite obvious. I'm just saying there's no way he's getting charged with all of that and would actually have a lesser sentence. But whatever.
@@chimpwimp9407that's why the video is called "if"
@@chimpwimp9407 being charged doesn't mean being convicted. He may still be charged with all those crimes, even if the evidence is flimsy, if the prosecutor decides to go with it. Whether or not he will actually be convicted, and what sentence he'll get is an entirely different matter.
@@chimpwimp9407 but dont you think theres alot they could prove in court.... i agree for things like the RV, criminal damage on walts car all the battery and conspiracy charges couldnt be proven cause everyone is dead pretty much but the fring case was well documented by the dea even if hank and gomex are dead the files are still there
Tony Soprano next video
Yooooooooo yes do it
Ya
OHHHHH 100%
Let’s also include Christopher Moltisanti and Uncle Junior.
Yes
If Lalo Salamanca was charged for his crimes
Do one for Hank Schrader. Hes done his fair share of illegal things as well
For example?
@@GerhardTreibheit Breaking into Jesses house assualting him, sending Jesse up to he killed, trying out an illegal cigarrette, letting Walt Junior drink etc.
While yes, he did commit some crimes, it be relatively short. The worst crime he committed is likely the aggravated battery and possibly civil rights violation of Jesse Pinkman.
I reckon the on-screen stuff is probably not the only things he has done illegally while under DEA, either personally committing or being a witness to it and shutting off about it.
@@thegoldensorcerer9866I don't think letting Walt Jr drink was illegal bc as long as u have parental consent and its on their property it is legal
2:13 the timing 🔥
Wtf 🤯🔥
Hm?
Saul: but with good behavior, who knows?
Every +100 years seems like a level up for Jesse
8:21 wouldn't this be self defense? Todd kiddnapped Jesse and imprisoned him for several months
It would only be self-defense if todd was trying to kill Jesse in that very moment, but because Jesse attacked him from behind when his guard was down. self-defense gets thrown out
Legally speaking it would probably still be second degree murder, but a jury probably wouldn't charge him with it due to the circumstances.
@@GamerBrinedQw4w9WgXcQ Juries don't charge people anyways..
@@arthurmead5341 Well they wouldn’t find him guilty of second degree murder in that specific case is what I meant.
@@zekesqueststudiosWhat about Brock being threatened? Just asking.
6:43 I like how they added x2 desecration of a corpse which was taking into account howard's and lalo's body
yeah but how were they to know about the corpses?
Theres 2 people that Walter killed after he killed Gus those are who they were so it should've been x4
@@tros_725 ah that would make sense then
@@tros_725 but like i said walt and jesse had no idea there were corpses even there, so it could probably be attributed to either gross negligence or they would only charge for the arson and destruction of evidence
Jesse had no Knowledge of there bodies so no crime there.
And yet I’m not going to serve any time
Just stumbled on this channel but the content is great the vine booms make it even better
Love the vids. Dunno how you make so many so fast but it's fantastic. Could you try doin Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series?
"Even if I did know where he was, ain't no way I'm helping you put Jesse pink man back in a cage."
Which ending do you think was best for Jesse?
The Cinema Cop or El Camino
I think I'd take the prison if it meant I could avoid being tortured by Todd.
El Camino, all this could have been avoided if his parents had done better for him when he was younger before turning ten & going through puberty.
7:48
no additional charges for threatening two other people with a firearm?
This is a different take. Love it!
do one for mike because throughout better call saul and breaking bad he has a pretty good amount of crimes
he has. czcams.com/video/_0QZLonN99Y/video.html
Mike has one
Maybe an good idea for the next video. What if Ignacio got charged for all his crimes.
02:28 right after that he fell through the toilet which would of been destruction of property
My favorite is the tax evasion 😅
Anyone else notice that beyond killing Gale all the Illegal Activities Jesse was involved in were relatively minor? Often just a couple years in jail for most of the crimes that added up to a big number due to the quantity.
Except for killing Gale every crime would've resulted in 10yrs of jail or fewer, often 5 or less years.
The rest of his murders he could probably successfully argue Self Defense
It's VERY telling actually because even when he killed Gale that was Self Defense just in a round about way, in a moral but not legal way. If he didn't do that it's guarenteed Gus would've had Mike find him & kill him within a matter of weeks or months. Jesse committed a lot of crimes that were considered smaller & they added up. It shows to me though that he's not as bad a person as many ppl in the Breaking Bad universe. All his murders were related to Self Defense except Gale but as I just said.... So compared to those he associates with he's better morally than them is what I'm getting at
yet, after breaking bad, jesse was the only one who lived
Walt: the one who knocks
Jesse: the one who lives

Okay so safe to say, 5 consecutive life sentences? I stopped at 122.5 years.
Can you do one for chop from gta. It's more of a joke type video, but I'll enjoy it for sure :)
Are the 2 desecration of a corpse in the super lab from Howard and Lalo's corpses
Go to 6:00 on the Walter white video
All of the Americans in these comments thinking that killing someone for just standing near them could be counted as self-defense
Let's not act like killing Todd was just killing a guy standing next to him. Maybe it's not legally self-defense, but it's not unreasonable to think it could count as self-defense and if I wrote the law I'd make it self-defense. I saw people say that killing Neil was self-defense, but not in this comment section.
8’s death was self defense so it does not count cus Walter wanted to let him go but he tried to kill him so he acted out of self defense
Krazy-8 was trapped in the basement. Walter could've called the police if he was so worried.
@@Cheez1000 but you could argue the Walter was not thinking of that and just going on fear
Walt wouldn't get a charge, but Jesse suggested Walt that he should murder Krazy-8.
Please review Tony Soprano and maybe some other characters from that show. That would be awesome.
Do jigsaw next pls
Offing Todd is more like a doing the world a favor kind of thing. 😅
1:06 is there LAWFUL manufacture of methamphetamine? I heard DEA chemists will produce batches for research purposes but besides that?
From what I hear, it's used as a medication for ADHD, so I'm assuming those pharmacists can legally manufacture it.
What's the difference between tampering with evidence and desecration of a corpse? I'm only asking because in the other videos for the BB universe it's usually the former and here it's the latter
Desecration of a corpse is more specific but either way it is tampering with evidence but with a higher sentence than normal
@@cinemacop I see, thank you 👌🏻👌🏻
To put into perspective how long this sentence it, if Jesse someone lived long enough to serve it, and it took place in the dead space universe. he would be released a few years after the opening segment of Dead Space 3.
Knowing his intellect he would have been prime canditate for building up Markers. Less smart just hear noise and see weird stuff while smarter see formulas, patterns and schematics and hear instructions. He is smart.
the battery at 5:46 actually qualifies as self-defense
nah, jessie is the intruder and he assaults the homeowner who has the right to keep him at gunpoint under castle doctrine
Jessie was knowingly tresspassing so it's not legally justified.
Can you do if nacho varga was charged for his crimes please?
make a video about the boondock saints
I didn't know that he got arrested in Alaska five years later. That just goes to show that nobody wins in the game of BCS & BB.

You should do Sopranos series chracters.
You keep forgetting to include the breaking and entering charge along with the burglaries
With the justice system as it is, and how many different charges he faces,it would take 308 years just to get done with the trails.

I removed my previous comment, because I thought that Jesse suggested the shootout, but it was Neil who suggested it. Still doesn't change my point. Jesse Pinkman premeditated the murder, so it shouldn't be second-degree.

Felony murder of Drew Sharp.
By Todd Alquist, though Jesse helped dispose of the body. Then punching Todd in the face afterwards too.
@@332tube Felony murder laws vary state to state, but in general they say that if you're committing a felony and one of your accomplices commits a murder in service of the felony then you're also on the hook for that murder regardless of whether you preplanned things that way. I believe New Mexico's specific felony murder law doesn't add any wrinkles to that. The Drew Sharp case is a pretty archetypal example of how felony murder laws work.
@@WonderfulLizardOfOz good point, in the UK I believe we call that 'joint enterprise'
he never ordered or hinted Todd to do it, neither was it planned so i dont think it comes of as felony murder if he didnt participate in it.
@@irrelevanttwat Felony murder is counterintuitive to people entirely because it still gets you even if you didn't plan for or participate in the murder in any way. In fact, people have been convicted of felony murder on far stranger and more indirect chains of events than what happened with Drew Sharp.
Could you do Agent 47 from the Hitman series?
Main trilogy or every game ?
@@cinemacop I'd say stick to the main World of Assasination trilogy (assuming that's what you mean). 47 is a character whose been around for years so that'd probably be much more manageable for you.
