I watched him pull out that “Stromboli cutter” and immediately thought “Oh hell no!” Because the on the night before the day this video was uploaded, I split open my finger trying to cut an onion.

Is Stromboli a calzone? Or is a calzone Stromboli? Or are they two separate things entirely? That looks like a calzone to me.
They are basically the same, the only difference is the shape. Think taco and burrito. Calzone is folded like a taco and a Stromboli is rolled like a burrito

@@PapaScorch22 Oh yeah, that's definitely a calzone. In this context, maybe it's just a regional thing that the names are interchangeable. I mean they are close enough that I guess it's kinda insignificant
The difference is the shape and a Stromboli has regular shredded cheese while a Calzone has ricotta cheese. I literally just made the same comment before I saw this one. I worked in a fair number of Italian restaurants when I was younger.

I've tried the veggie stromboli. It's tastes best with peppers and onions. Gonna have to try one with squash :)
