I'm shocked that you didn't mention any of the Yakuza games because they are just LITTERED to hell and back with ads on every corner. A shockingly high amount of the shops/cafes in the games are real and paid to get represented like that, they even parodied the weird RIZAP gym ads for the results screen in Yakuza 6 when they added it, it's like a whole different league of seamless ad integration
Hello, I am here because of your AvP video. Right off the bat, I want to say that the fan rebuild of "Aliens vs Predator 2" is active, its a fantastic game, but it its abandoned and thus it will never be on steam. Your assumptions, especially for the console version of AvP 3, the game you reviewed" was true for the most part. The best player in the game WAS an Alien player, but that wasnt the case for the rest, I was kinda high tier with the Alien, I got most the PvP achievements with the Alien. Predators were for the most part the highest tier player. Marines were even Steven. The Story mode for AvP 3 was good, but you would be blown away by the story mode for AvP 2 and its DLC, btw I am the only person on CZcams and Twitch to beat the "Pread-Alien" story mode on the hardest setting for the DLC for AvP 2. That game was made by the same people that made the 1st Half Life and the it has the same dark humor in the story modes. Because you didnt play AvP 2, I assume, you wounldnt have noticed the changes between how all the diffrent races played between AvP 2 and AvP 3. Ill point them out here. ALIENS. In AvP 2 all the Aliens, because you can play as Dog Aliens, and Pred Aliens, along with Pratraians and a Queen, or almost all, can instantly kill an enemy at close range if they do a head bite, they also get massive amounts of health doing a live head bite. They also had a rapidly powerful lunge attack that would send them very long distances and do insane ammounts of damage to whatever enemy they hit. The problem is you get no health from the enemy, and if its a killing hit, you obliterate their body, so theirs still nothing to eat for getting health. Other than that, they played the same, outside the different species playing different. Also you could play a Queen if you killed X amount of players in one life. She has the greatest damage reduction, the most health, and all her attacks are one hit kills no matter what kind of Predator or Human you hit. The problem is she is so big, she cant fit on in lots of parts of the maps. The Alien in compassion from "AvP 3" lost lots of its powerful melee attacks, theirs no differences between different aliens, no queen alien, you might not have noticed, but in bright areas, the aliens are blind kinda, which is very annoying. The tail attack is nerfed for PvP. The top player in the game would do a running jump tail attack and was so good, he could hit the players and do massive damage, he was the only one that did it consistently, I couldn't even do that. Marines are essentially the same, they just had a huge part of their armory cut, including anti-tank rocket launchers, grenade launchers with multiple different kinds of ammo, pistol with different kinds of ammos, shotguns with different kinds of ammo, gattling guns, AND if they can find it. THE ALICE POWER ARMOR. The ALICE Power armor is the Marines, or WY mercs, equivianlt power weapon to the Aliens Queen Alien, but its easier to get. It gave you an armor boost, you run as fast as Master Chief or maybe even the Scout from TF2, you just like Mario pratically, and its armed with *Twin Gattling guns *Heavy Duty Flame Thrower *Anti-Tank Rocket Launcher *Anti-"EVERYTHING" Laser cannon, its only drawback is it only recharges if you dont move. Also I used to do this in AvP 3, but the Marine had the added ability to stun enemies if they punch them, I was proving to people just how bad the Aliens got nerfed between AvP 2 and AvP 3 and focused on just beating alien player to death with the Marine, and most the time, though I didnt kill the alien, I kept just stunning them over and over, and they would just leave, or an ally would just shoot the alien for me after I beat them. The Predator in AvP has classes, also the Marines and WY mercs do to, like the Aliens have different species, and yes the WY Mercs play different and they have the best motion trackers. The Predator is a Power House in AvP 2, hes not as good at hand to hand as he is in AvP 3, again it just made the alien feel like it got pushed to the side in AvP 3 with its nerfs and weird disadvantages, going blind in well lit places, really the top player on Xbox was gifted with the alien. Predators in AvP2 overall had everything in AvP 3 and *Weapon of War Plasma Pistol, this thing was a beast, you can start the match with it and its 1 reason the Predators dont have something equal to a Queen Alien or the Alice Power Armor. Its long range, rapid fires, does insane damage, and each plasma bolt explodes in an explosion equal to the grenades form the Grenadge Launcher. *Energy recharger. The Predator has a fast infinite energy recharge, its used if they need their energy to recharge faster. Its drawbacks are the large amount of light it gives off, and the Predator screams when he uses it. *Some Predators replace their gauntlet projectile with an emergency plasma gun, and it sounds just like the plasma rifle from Halo 1 and 2. *An additional vision mode that lets them see Droids and Cloaked Predators. Their are game modes that allowed all the races and their classes to mix, and those are fun and funny as all hell. So Predators needed an anti-predator view mode. *Self destruct. This is a b@$th weapon. Its just like that weapon the main villain in "Ready Player One" used to kill all the players trying to get the last key. The Self destruct will kill everyone in the match no matter where they are. The drawback is, the Predator doing it doesnt get any kills on their score, it counts as a suicide. HOWEVER, if the Humans and Aliens have lots of people doing so well that they have a Queen or more, and have the Alice Power Armor, or more than 1, this thing will instantly kill them, and the Humans will have to wait for the armor to respawn, while the Aliens will just have to get good and kill another X amount of players till they can become a Queen in one life. Dont ask me why whole matches didnt get trolled with Predator players just spamming self destruct, I never saw it happen, and its not a complaint I ever saw. It could have to do with it going on their perma record, all the self termiantions? FRANKLY. "Aliens Colonial Marines" ws one of the highest tier Alien or AvP games. It dropped all the nerfs aliens had in AvP 3, and they got tons and tons and tons of new attacks and abilites, while the Marines got almost all their stuff back and more. Its shame their was no Predators in PvP in that game. Despite the controversy, Colonial Marines was inspirational enough that all the aliens, weapons, and even WY Mercs ended up in other games. Everything in ACM went into the Aliens vs Predator Table top war game, even the King Aliens, which is so powerful, that the King Alien slows down the gameplay with its abilites to "War Hammer 40k 1st edition lvls of slow" it also has stuff from other AvP mediums. Lots of them ended up in Aliens Fireteam Elite and Aliens dark descent. Both are fantastic, but they have no PvP sadly. Hopefully if theirs an AvP4, it takes the best of everything I mentioned from all the games I talked about and adds more, except maybe King aliens, because canonicly no one has killed a "REAL KING ALIEN" a fake one made by humans got killed in "Alien Rogue" it was a super beast even then, and the King Aliens are just to lethal. Maybe a survival mode where you all run away from a King Alien would be fine. Anyway, thanks for the AvP 3 vid and the nostalgia XD

Thats product placement that feels good, especially if its just in game customization stuff to look cool. No real buffs or anything, or if they do, its small. Its why id want to have cool sponsors that fit the world, and emphasize a 2000's culture. Like, having a thrasher jacket, or Etneis skateboard sneakers, thats cool. And it could be a nice way to tie into the real product line. Maybe owners of the game could secure like a ten percent discount on the real life products. Good system for getting yourself investment, showing off products you truly enjoy, and having it be non intrusive. Balance with fictional brands, and keep it as something thats treated normal. Tbh, I feel a game that handled advertisements excellently was Pikmin 2 It doesn't feel like its they're simply there for advertising but rather feels natural, mainly because of the plot; Collecting "Treasures" that are actually just random objects you'd find in the real world like a Duracell battery or a 7up. Things you'd find in real life rather than some generic battery or something. It also doesn't feel like they're shoving it down your throat. Especially since they're never actually called their brand name in-game and are given name's like, 'Courage Reactor' or 'Nutrient Silo' It's mainly why I don't like the switch port as much as nearly every single one was removed, for obvious reasons but it still makes the game feel blander, when you find the 'Drought Ender' which is a Dr. Pepper, it just feels more exciting than some generic coconut water which replaced the Dr. Pepper in the switch port.

It doesn't feel like its they're simply there for advertising but rather feels natural, mainly because of the plot; Collecting "Treasures" that are actually just random objects you'd find in the real world like a Duracell battery or a 7up. Things you'd find in real life rather than some generic battery or something. It also doesn't feel like they're shoving it down your throat. Especially since they're never actually called their brand name in-game and are given name's like, 'Courage Reactor' or 'Nutrient Silo'
It's mainly why I don't like the switch port as much as nearly every single one was removed, for obvious reasons but it still makes the game feel blander, when you find the 'Drought Ender' which is a Dr. Pepper, it just feels more exciting than some generic coconut water which replaced the Dr. Pepper in the switch port.

Usually merch is being sold by the company who owns the IP. Marvel sell Marvel merch. When suddenly fortnite is the one selling Marvel merch, it becomes different. It suddenly becomes a marketing opportunity
