Honesty and humility. Well done big man 👏
Humility after throwing usyks belts out the ring.............??? 😂
Aye very good, cause there's no difference in the heat of the moment and being reflective down the line
Easy for you to say
What honesty he lost 9 3 or 10 2 if scored correctly
@@smokemeakipper1076 He's already said multiple times that he handled that situation wrong. Idk what more he can do besides admitting he was wrong, and giving Usyk credit.
Props to him. No excuses, just respect.
💯💯
Agree. I wish tyson would fight usyk as well
Wasteman
@@stu4768😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 he was crying in the ring
@@Stephen-lx9nm yeah youd do better😂 good one
As a boxer AJ gets disrespected far too much, fair enough he was very well beaten by an incredible usyk twice. But look at his resume and the fact he actually stepped in the ring with Uysk unlike a certain other heavyweight.
Exactly I ride with this fighter over the others and I'm American
Losing to another good fighter doesn’t make you bad especially if they was decent fights 💯 it’s been like that in boxing forever when the best fight the best one wins one loses there is no fair enough no one should even be bashing him cuz he lost it’s boxing it’s a sport it’s competition win some you lose some every man that ever stepped in that ring has lost somewhere or at some point in they career not just in pro in amateurs as well
@Dantes230Wilder ran away from his biggest payday 😂😅
Got beat twice by a cruiserweight, threw belts out of ring, claimed Lomas "you are strong" comment was racist.
He needs to retire.
i know. and mayweather is still dodging usyk till this day. i know he still has fight in him but he doesnt wanna tarnish his record
This is how Fury should have reacted. No saltiness.
Take it you have not seen the usyk AJ 2 end of fight ring talk
@@bigend07Yeah mate, wasn't the best lve seen AJ react.
@@bigend07 He was concussed. When that happens you talk shite and you can't remember what you said. I know from personal experience.
Are you taking the piss this bum embarrassed himself at the end of the second fight
@@paulnewton3059 I did start to think that when Fury said happy new year and all that talk about the war. Can't do you much good taking that many punches to the head
Respect for your honesty AJ
This guy is a real legend
Truth honesty morality bravery
Unless Fury who is a bully, braggart and bs king
Unlike
Morality? Did you see how he behaved after Usyk beat him the second time? One of the most disgraceful displays in pro sports history. That was the real AJ.
@@andrewvanstryp9830
Actually, fury accepted defeat with much more class than Joshua did after he lost to Usyk the second time. Joshua behaved like an adolescent buffoon. It was one of the most bizarre and embarrassing displays of idiocy I’ve ever seen in professional sports. He totally disrespected Usyk. How quickly people like you forget.
He is an example of pure class and sportsmanship
To make up for when he displayed the exact OPPOSITE last august 🙃
@@DeeTeaDee when you try so hard and don’t succeed, you get a little emotional you get me?
@@DeeTeaDee brother you’ve achieved nothing in life and your still crying about the 1 negative thing. with aj he don’t really fuck up much but when he does people hold onto his mistakes for years becuz he’s a huge celebrity in boxing and people try to shit on him for snything
Pure class after 2nd usyk loss? I disagree
Lol he isn’t at all
Good response from aj. Glad he's realistic. Hope he comes back better
A humility that I appreciate. This man is a real champion
What are you talking about? The way he acted after Usyk beat him the second time was one of the most revolting displays of churlishness I’ve ever seen in professional sports. So he makes one statement of humility and suddenly that’s all forgotten?
🤡 aj embarrassed British boxing and he ain’t a really champ
Refreshing honesty . Absolutely spot on there that's the truth right there
Honest man. Props.
He speaks the truth, no excuses!
Now that the dust has settled after the Usyk rematch, it’s good to see AJ being totally honest, especially with himself. He has just gone up in my estimation. It’s only when you accept reality that you can move forward. Will we at least get AJ vs Wilder?
this is what he was saying in his weird post match speech. he was just too hurt to articulate
@@ntochiv Too cringy
the boy is blessed ...
Wilder vs Joshua no longer makes any logical sense, wilder should just retire atp
@@Ledgic-TM If Joshua loses to Franklin, then he is done. If he makes hard work of it for a points win, then he’s still probably done. If he does what he must do, makes a big statement & blasts him out early, then the Wilder fight would be a big money fight again. If Joshua wants to be a force in the division again, he can’t afford another second-rate fight after Franklin. If he wins by knockout, he needs to be fighting a top 3 or 4 opponent next. IMO that means Fury, Usyk, Wilder or Joyce.
Still really respect this man he is one of the main reasons I’m a boxing fan
Big up AJ , simple, to the point and no BS
Nothing but respect for this champ
Gotta respect the honesty..
Got beaten by the better man.
loved it,honest confession, really it takes guts to admit it, commendable,God bless you boxer.
This is why i support him . No bullshit. Just a real fighter. 🇸🇪👌🏻
This is one of the reasons I like this man. When the dust has settled & all the hype is done, he reflects and never makes excuses for losses or bad performances. A real sportsman & man.👍🏿👍🏿
Um, he did just that after losing to Usyk. In fact he made an embarrassing spectacle of himself in doing so.
Real Fans appreciate this very much.
Honesty and humility. This guy deserves to go higher
He is very opposite of humility, as he proved win, losing that second fight to Usyk.
True respect for this man.
Great to hear this! Words of truth which can allow him to grow. Hope it leads him to greatness again as it’s a good life lesson, much better than this never beaten bollox.
respect to AJ...he's being honest and humble...fought the guy twice
Words of a champion
I have to say this is the most humble athlete ive seen.
Becoming humble, respect.
Never seems to amaze me this fighter has integrity and well spoken rare for rich hw fighter champ" s...
💯💯💯
I really respect AJ for keeping it real!!! Unlike Wilder!! AJ💪🏿💪🏿🥊
Never been an AJ fan , but his honesty and humility to his loses and his performance against Francis is making me a new fan now.
Still disgusting behaviour after the Usyk match. Still better than most other Brit boxers though, definitely more decent than Fury, Chisora, Whyte and the likes
@@KosarasIngrid-hi3yw
You can't mixed in Fury when Josgua lost 3 times and has quit.....world apart
No, we all know the real Joshua after he publicly humiliated himself after that last Usyk punch up.
That level of transparency and accountability for personal failure to fulfil his quest while acknowledging his opponents talent, is the stuff of his still, incredible legend...
That's why I respect AJ. He's humble and honest.
🤡
Honest and Humble in defeat a true champion
Thanks you AJ love and respect 🙏
Thats the right attitude tbh, i can see him improving
Stay hungry stay humble
This is how you take a loss. Dude just straight up admits he got beat by the better man twice.
He threw belts out the ring and cried lmao
This is 100% correct. Takes a big man to admit where the fault lies.
Literally the only boxer with such humility, honesty and respect for opponents
But he wasn't like that on that night he lost to Usyk.
@@jackmason4320 I'd give him the benefit of the doubt that night that he was having a breakdown......the man had carried an awful lot of competitive and commercial pressure intensively for so long and I think that was it all coming out of him
@@neilcolligan9025
Fair enough.
Are you kidding me? First of all, there are plenty of boxers in the game who show a great deal of humility and class on a regular basis (Beterbiev, Loma, Usyk, etc). Second, Joshua was as boorish and unseemly as it gets after he lost to Usyk. Rarely in the history of professional sports have I seen such a picture of adolescent stupidity. He completely disrespected Usyk and the sport. It was astonishing.
Respect big man
I like AJ. Always seems realistic and down to earth.
That has just made me like and respect him again 🙏👏💪
He's got a good head on his shoulders again. Healthy selfconfidence and bias. No complete self-delusion. Old school competitive mentality.
Great honesty AJ. Shows an intelligence rarely seen amongst fighters. Never stops learning. Great man!
You are also a great talented fighter. Respect AJ 👍
Now Fury has the same feeling
Fury feels worse 😂😂
I really admire this guy. Honest and strait. No bullshit excuses. He just stated that he lost from the better sportsman. that's all
🤡
I haven’t seen this interview but what transparency from AJ that’s a real bloke! Props to AJ.
AJ can come again, he's still young and learning.
He's 33 years old isn't he?
@@NyQuilDonut that’s still young boxing wise, once he hits 40 that’s a different story
@@NyQuilDonut 33-35 is still young for a fighter
@@mrlee3294 depends on the weight class, at lightweight you'll start declining around 32, at HW its around 38 or so, it also depends on your fighting style. Defensive fighters decline later as they dont rely on explosiveness as much. Someone like Joe Joyce will also keep his prime into his early 40s, he doesnt rely on speed one bit. Whereas someone like Usyk is already declining as his style is movement heavy.
@@marcin123G That’s absolutely correct everything you said was true, but i feel like Joshua even though he’s a technical brawler i feel like he’s still got a good couple years down the tank. He’s always in shape, never injured, and always takes care of his health.
Oozing class lad
u are still a champ regardless. very honest man.
Idk why anyone hates AJ or any combat fighter tbh. They earned their respect just by stepping in the ring.
I loved AJ honestly and how he fairly evaluated his performance with total honesty. I truly respect AJ
Well done big man, you earned more respect for being honest. You r a true warrior not like fat belly.
😊greedy belly
Respect to AJ
Would love to see him come back stronger than ever. It's heartbreaking seeing this guys self esteem get knocked.
Still waiting on Wilder to give Fury his flowers too 🤣🤣🤣
@@Bswithjay Wilder is a hard fight. He only gassed because he put a bunch of unnecessary muscle on. He had KO power in round 12 of his first fight with Fury when he was about 215 pounds.
@@NyQuilDonut imagine if he was 215 getting beat up by 275 Fury though...he'd have got knocked out cold
@@Bswithjayruiz 😂
Never in his lifetime, too much pride in his heart 😂😂
Fury is a cheat he just lost and they give it to him.
But he’s got character 😂
Fair play to him. You don’t get better by blaming suits, your team, egg weights and floppy gloves. Now he can address his weaknesses and try to improve. Respect.
Respect
And that's why I'll forever be an AJ fan. Gees! How could you not love this man's humility...
joshua & usyk are both class acts humble & respectful
Joshua is not a class act at all
@@leedutch5155 think your getting joshua & fury mixed up pal!!!
Im very glad to see him thinking that way! Respect
I love you for always being truthful. Fury keeps denying not beaten blueblack by d same man. I assure him that by october he will lose again to d same man and Joshua will come back and reclaim his title.
Now this I respect 🫡 Joshua is a king 👑
Why king?
Joshua is a bum and a crybaby
Honesty is always good to hear
I respect u Aj u from home not a house...respect.
Good to see a humble, honest man - No excuses, gives credit where it’s due. Humble in victory and gracious in defeat. Great respect AJ. 👍
Nothing was gracious about his defeat, like when he took the mic and started talking random shit like a maniac just to get some attention or throwing Usyks belts off the ring like wtf
Very humble response ❤
AJ being like this is very scary. You gotta know 100% who you are fighting and always be honest with yourself. Doesn't give himself any slack
One thing I will say about Joshua, when he talks back on losses he knows why he's lost, he knows Usyk is the better fighter and understands that's the pinnacle of boxing ability. Tyson though, like a typical traveller, can't give credit where it's due after he's been beaten. They're the type of people that would petrol bomb your house if you slap them in a fight, and at the same time try and make you fight their uncles, cousins, brothers
Love AJ
Ass wipe
Just a class athlete. The fact he acknowledges there is another level only means he can get better. If you believe you've hit the ceiling you'll stop progressing!
I used to like Fury and hate AJ but now it’s flipped. Aj admits that Usyk was the better man while Fury is making excuses and saying he won the fight when he was clearly dominated.
Well said big come back fella learn from that 👏 👍
a real gentleman...I admire him
This is why he’s getting better
Honesty on what’s happened and addressing it
He’s a real classy guy. Even after his emotional outburst in 2nd fight, he still went back to the ring, said “I’m sorry” to Usyk and his teammates and explained his pain in his best possible manner. He never made excuses like some people
If A.J had started boxing at an early age like Fury and Usyk he would be unstoppable.
No he wouldn’t aj is just a juice head in boxing gloves not a real fighter.
Aj is mentally weak aj did not even belong in the same ring as uysk
Always realistic and knows when he was beat no excuses ...this just makes him better
This is why AJ keeps getting better and better despite losses. He has a proper self reflection. Very rarely do you see a proud fighter who is that honest with himself.
And on the other side "the suit was too heavy" "I was jet-lagged" "I'm too at peace now in life,I need to find that killer instinct" Joshua now under Ben Davison is the best joshua, Ben wants to put that fight right for him
AJ is so sensible. This is how I know he will get even better.
AJ keeps it 💯 snm
Great to see AJ being honest with himself like this, hope to see him back in the mix at the very top soon. When he’s on form he’s an exciting fighter and great ambassador for the sport. Not a man born from his mother beats the Gypsy King though.
@Christian Thronbury The "Fattest cringe in April" award goes to you, sir!
Fury really messed up this time bro. 😶
Aj is a beast with combinations and he’s able to really throw to the body but he just doesn’t take the chances in the ring. If his confidence level can get back to before the Ruiz loss I think he can become that great finisher again he’s just become a lot more conservative with punches and I think he’s only now getting comfortable with his ability to take shots and stay in the pocket and he’s going to need that to face fury if they fight. I think where he’s at currently he has the ability to beat fury but he will just have to catch him with something.
Fury doesn't punch his weight but Joshua does. I've always said Joshua has Furys number and this is why Fury has put so many obstacles in the way of the matchup.
Aj is definitely not a beast lmao casual
Joshua is a much higher class of a man than some other recent Usyk's opponents. Respect to Joshua.
What a stud ❤
That’s he is the goat! Very honest !
You’re a good man, Anthony you can hold your head higher than most ,if not all of them
At least he admitted that Usyk was a better man unlike his British counterpart blaming a war between 2 nations
Fair enough. I dont really understand why people bitch out on AJ. Hes alright.
Probably just because of the humiliating fashion that he treats his losses while in the Ring but I mean that's the heat of the moment.
@Dreyz-pg2zz Its concussion buddy. After being hit by bad boy hitters people basically don't act normally. Just look at what fury said post fight " happy new year " You need to give them space after that kind of beating.
@@richardbreeze7898 true, true. I remember the controversy around joe Rogan interviewing fighters after a knockout, they just aren't all there after such a beating.
Atleast aj admitted he needs to become better. Can't wait to see him back. He made big improvements. He went from being dominated in the first fight and nearly getting knocked out in the last few seconds of the last round to actually having a competitive and close fight in the second fight.
The second fight was not close or competitive at all aj didn’t belong in the same ring as uysk
this what i been saying. Meeting Usyk showed AJ a higher level of boxing science he did not know before. I respect him for admitting it.
Nothing but respect for that
AJ is the most disrespected two time heavyweight champion yet he has consistently improved as the years have gone by.
Aj is the role model in the boxing world that needs to be globally recognized! Young man has been such a good guy since he stepped on the scene. Don't know him personally, and that's the best part. He keeps his private life private enough that people focus on his talent and his job! Humble and classy killer!
He's a real Man!
respect AJ
