      @@seangocrazyyy mmh, i think elphaba is an alto role... but the actress has to be able to belt an Eb5, which is what makes the role challenging. If you listen to the wizard and i and i’m not that girl, those songs sit in the alto range, isn’t that a D3 or an E3 in i’m not that girl??

      @@lent_ils yes! they have an alto sound but they are mezzo soprano, they have to belt up to F#5 in defying gravity!
