  • This is something REALLY SMALL. I wanted to post this just to say, thank you guys so much for the support. I would have never expected to reach this many people...and I thank you for it. I hope I can entertain you guys. I working out two big projects for the channel, and they are taking way longer then I thought they would, but hopefully they can come out soon. Also I'm working with a new editing software, Davinci Resolve (and still using Sharefactory), and I have no clue where to start, so whatever happens...happens
    Stay well and safe :)

My thoughts on DMC4 so far: why are there so many puzzles?!
I happy that exceed is similar to 5's and so far I love the layout and environment design of this game.
I really don't like how you can't buy skills with red orbs, but it is what it is I guess.
The game looks great. In DMC5 Nero sounds like his own character. DMC4 Nero sounds like Ichigo to me, but that's not a problem, I like Ichigo.
OOH...now I see why people say DMC4 is a little difficult to master. The jump cancel window is easier than 3's, but harder then 5's. Inertia is also a thing.

Proud Souls are still sorta neat because you can refund the purchased moves. You'll really get into the swing of things when you learn enemy jump cancel boxes with practice.
The inertia is really fun to play with. Nero maintains his motion when he uses Snatch to pull to an enemy in 4 (not in 5) so it is fun to get around.

You're right, but the reason I was kinda iffy with it was because you can only obtain Proud Souls during a mission when you die. But the refunding is extremely cool though.
Yep, inertia was one of the reasons I really wanted to play 4. I can't wait to experiment with it. And thank you for the info!

Oh thx man! I really don't think I'm that good. I think playing DMC5 and 3 helped me out a lot, definitely 3.

      You really did! :D
Your Dante combo got me really interested.

Imo dmc4 has the worst levels! But i like the nero character, and I'm not a fan of Dante's design. Combat is fast and fluid with depth, lots of characters to throw in the lab, a good story, etc. 8/10

Nice Im not a BIG fan of dmc4 for some couple reasons, I played like 5 or 7 missions long ago and I felt more excited in my dmc3 gameplay way more than dmc4 too Much puzzles and stuff I couldnt resist but thats my problem I always think on beating the game then Im pretty sure I'll like it. I havent even played with Dante yet, so this is just based on my first toughts on the game nothing serious.

Oh that's totally fine. I finally got to Dante...and I'm not gonna lie, I'm exhausted. Not because of the fights, but because of the puzzles and platforming. So far, DMC4 for me is great when it's great. It's really bad when it's bad. The combat is amazing. The level design looks really pretty, but not fun to play through sometimes. DMC5's level design felt like a playground, which it should be. Even though DMC3 can be rough sometimes, the level design fits both Dante and Vergil extremely well. Playing DMC3 is so much fun.

@@sodamustdie4372 totally agree with all of what you said DMC3 is kinda my favourite ngl 😅 but all of them are good, I just dont know what is wrong with capcom putting all those puzzles through the game, it becomes boring but Im pretty sure once you get used To it after beating the game a couple of time it aint gonna be no issues anymore and your Playtroughts gonna be Smooth.

    Wierd flex but ok

Flex? I thought my gameplay was weak. There wasn't really any inertia. I'm still learning that.
