    Excellent demo, guys! I was searching for all videos on this particular pedal and this is definitely one of the most helpful. Thanks!

    I still use my old OC-2, I did not replace it even when Version 3 came out, but this OC-5 looks like it would be worth it!

    Thanks for the demo, just a little reminder that it was worth me paying for one - These things are like Gold-dust it seems, I dare say a victim of Chip shortages/Covid etc, as I ordered one from my usual Online Musical Retailer at the beginning of October, and the latest estimate for it to be delivered is the end of November/Beginning of December. Can't wait for it to arrive !

    The TonePedia didn't seem to work any trick to it? I didn't change any settings and it's not working.

      Hey Casey, we have updated the link and it should work now. Please let us know if you encounter any further issues with accessing the demos. Thanks // TonePedia

    Has anyone tried using the BOSS OC-5 with an acoustic guitar? I am trying to isolate the lowest note of my chords to pretty much have the sound of a bass playing along with me. But, it sounds pretty muddy and even sometimes has a strange delay like sound as if I had a delay pedal on. The volume is also all over the place. I was thinking that if I put a compressor in the chain that will help this problem. What do you guys think?

      I use a Taylor with my OC-5 (which took me ages to purchase here in UK) and the tracking on mine is spot on. Using polymode all the time to play without a bassist.

      I have the same problem dude. Don't bother guys buying this one for that function! The lowest note tracking sucks! Just stay with the Boss OC3, it can do almost the same stuff and costs significantly less money. Sold my OC5 after month of struggle to make this garbage work properly.

      @@AcousticSamuray Nothing wrong with OC-5 lowest note feature, don't trash the pedal, trash your technique.

      @@jonthomas1438 Ofcourse it definitely is, dude. Not even a chance the problem with the pedal;)
      I've just said that it has latency and does not fit with my style and looping techniques. Other than that, sound just as good as boss oc-3 sometimes even better, consedering all new features.

    This pedal, or the New EXH Pitchfork plus?

    • @tonepedia
      @tonepedia  Před 3 lety +2

      Great question Michael, the OC-5 is smaller and simpler plus it tracks extraordinarily well.

      @@tonepedia Thanks. I love both companies - so I will do a "side-by-side" to decide. Stay Safe.

    This isn’t an Octave pedal. It’s a “make you sound like shit” effect pedal. For that, it’s perfect. Possibly ok in studio. Live, sounds like hell in a small box. I’m returning mine.

    Can it simulate a 12 string guitar effect?

      Hey Jonathan, I´d say that it gets pretty close with the right amp. You can try it out here: bit.ly/3cdBaHw
