Every person and doctor and psychologist and evaluator who looked at us said I was by far the better parent, but I still had to fight like hell to get custody. It should have been a slam dunk but she had the ultimate card of being a female. Nothing else mattered. I did finally get custody but it was hell on Earth to do it.
