I'm watching this on 9/2 before heading to work as a teacher. I'm Zoom weary, feeling like not quite enough for the task. But after soaking in the Psalms, I've only listened to and worshiped along in the first 11:27 minutes, and already I feel filled and focused on the Lord, whose mercy is new every morning and stronger than any darkness. He is indeed good and has blessed me with good things. May He continue to increase and be more than any fear or exhaustion. May the Lord help me to be merciful with others as I have needed His mercy. Thank you for this Famiy Hymn Sing!
Loved hearing Blessed Assurance. It was the first hymn I learned after becoming a Christian that was not a Christmas Carol.
I love this so beautiful reminds me of why I still love and serve Jesus christ he is still so alive for me
Pray for the many families that got shattered and could/ should be yet praising the Savior together.
I wish every family and friends will do this ..singing praises to the Lord. Kids are being molded & we will have a God fearing generations. Let there be peace on earth. God bless the Getty's family.

These family hymn sings have been a highlight in these troubling times. I love the spontaneity & naturalness especially with the girls! I love modern worship songs some of which The Gettys may not like but agree they should be scriptural. It's also good to sing older ones sung with you which I learnt in my childhood! Praise our great & powerful God. Thank you so much xx

Somehow I just got around to watching this today--and it came as the answer to an anxious prayer for peace and focus. Within five minutes, I felt calm and ready to do what's needed today. Thank you for sharing your talents, and those of your family, and for giving so many talented musicians the opportunity to do the same--I know they've blessed my life!
I can't wait to be married and have kids and sing with them the praise of my God and savior.
