This video definitely deserves a thumbs up! Thanks for providing a solution to the Hurricane's potential high speed woobles using the exway washers and disclosing the better pulleys. I was on the fence about the Hurricane bz of the low clearance and fast speed with the inherent woobles from double kingpin trucks but now I feel that issue is remedied due to this video! I was thinking of going with the Propel Endeavor 2 for ruggedness n stability but its way to expensive and I am mostly a street rider that hits train tracks n rocks n debris sometimes at high speed!

6:00 When i watch some other tubers vids they don't seem to use the strap, but like you said its kind of a life saver to drop it. On hub motors you can keep rolling like a real board and use your foot break. I Got 120mm on my meepo V3, it was a pain in the ass removing the polyurethane but once installed gained so much traction on back alleys, beach paths, gravel paths and rough roads withouttoo much vibration, its almost like surfing but on land.

Just got message that i have to pay extra 400$ but no thing where lol. Asked about it but didnt get answer anymore just the confirmation of the sended board. I think it is shipped by sea. I am also staying in north-Europe it might have a difference!

thats ur preference brotha… my hurricane i have only ONE on the rear truck and its roadside. u might want more , or u might like it. i use one front and rear on my hadean because its flex and dkp combination is very carvy and lots of rebound.
Did the increased top speed esc upgrade interfere with the bottom end torque launch power at all ?

yep. u can put it on the bottom of the other kingpin for more stability.. but i dnt need that much

40mph on less stable dual kingpin trucks is Just insane.
And people say double king pin trucks aren’t stable. If setup correctly you can comfortably sit at 30+ mph.
Were the stock meepo belts compatible with the new pulleys? Or did you have to order different ones.
i just used the 29T belts the pullies came with. i doubt it’ll work with 32T belts

How much torque did you lose with this setup? Wonder if 105 clouds would help extend range and torque for going up hills.
Hey brotha, I'm getting 15 miles tops on the same exact setup on a brand new hurricane. I'm 170,flat terrain pretty much. Speed mode 4 aggressive riding. Do u think there's a problem with my range. That seems like no were near enough miles. Please lnk. Thanks alot for everything. Those exway washers maje world of difference

I’m 225lb, aggressive riding on cyclone 165s wheels and get like 22/23 miles. 15 is way under the amount you should be getting

Did you only use the CNC bushing for the bottom kingpin of the rear trucks? I wasn't too sure if you had them anywhere else. Do you recommend getting more than one of those bushings?
yes i only had ONE on the entire board.. i think they come in 2 or 3 in a pack. so the more u use them, the more stability u will have. but it will probably sacrifice a bit of carvability if you use more.. try it out!
@@esk8unity I now have the rear CNC bushing set up on my Ranger X2 board and now constantly hit full speed without realizing, so will definitely add it to the hurricane when it arrives.

Guessing 32 - 35mph, dependant on weight and gradient. You can get the 29T Gear from Board Bumpers for 40mph

Where did you get the belts from to match the pulleys etc what do the pulleys do? Decrease torque and increase top speed?
so cloudwheels usually come with 40T pullies.. i wanted to try something closer to there stock 32T street setup:. i don’t think theres any 32t abec style pully except evolves which dont fit cloudwheels.. so i used 29T abec.. more speed. suppost to knock off some acceleration power but i didnt really feel the difference.. board bumper also makes 36T abec which will be a GREAT medium for this setup..

@@alvinr8694 if you ride mode 2 which is 22 max, I bet u will get 40 easy. Prob 42 to 43 in nice weather. I'm 225 and I get 35 to 37 mode 2. Mode 3 for you is prob around 38.

Ok guy's i get the meepo hurricane after 2 month and half waiting...
I get bad surprise when i open the box, the belt guard was broken and one wheel was deformed and had a flat part what is dangerous.
I wrote to customer service to explain and asked for new tire and belt guard, Bonnie write me and tried to say it is my fault not them, I am liar, I broke it...
I took pics and videos of broken part to show Bonnie that I didn't ride yet with it.
Finally after more than 25 message she said sorry and tell me they will send me belt guard but nothing about the tire, she said I have to repair it what is not possible. Now I write to them but without any answers.

@@esk8unity the whole gearing thing is getting me confused... because typically smaller gear will get you higher torque/acceleration but lower top speeds... is there a guide online to learn more about belt drive gears?
@@XTRUCASE do you by chance ride a bike? It's the same concept as the rear cassette. Since we are talking about the amount of teeth being proportionate to size of the gear (attached to the wheel)....the more teeth you have, beefs up the acceleration but decreasing top speed. By taking the pully teeth size down to 29T...you will not accelerate as fast; but will have higher top speed.

Same. I'm 225 and the Zeus is the answer. It lacks the torque of this board but it lasts longer even for heavier riders.

guys keep in mind, im BLASTING through gear 4 the entire way.. towards the end of 2 bars, i went back to that straight away and kept blasting high speed over n over again. im not a speed demon either. so if u cruise in mode 3 and dont ride on grass and carve as much as me, ull get 20 miles plus. for sure
