On the Zeus, its a range monster and a super clean, fast cruiser... the power is there bro... I see it for sure... its not about 1 verses the other... it about quality, performance and price... and the Zeus is a BOSS for the price...
But that Evolve and Meepo they are 100% about torque... pull, pull and pull some more.... their top speed suffers a bit... but none the less... they both perform like savages....
And your slides look sooo dope bro, no joke...
I have been workin on it low key with my motored and motorless boards... and I know how much body awareness it takes to initiate the perfect slide... mad respect bro

Jesus Meepo has been dominating everywhere I've seen lately.
Evolve just put there GTR on sale (old) model with horrible remote. They really need to lower that Hadean cost lol. MEEPO all Day!
It's insane. Meepos only short comings from what I can see is aesthetics and weight. And I suppose turning radius but with loose trucks that would be very similar. I guess flexy deck lacking too, to be objective. My 1st eboard was a GTR and a bit of a mistake. Evolve have QC issues, primarily their motor controller from my experience. Anyway the Meepo maybe chonky but the performance looks insane. Not to mention the board is currently under £1k in the UK. Half the price of evolves significantly slower Hadean. Their price is completely unjustifiable. If they moved board production to Australia then that would be fair enough but they're not, they're a "China boards" too - lol! Only things I like about the GTR are the flexy deck, the trucks and the remote. (Fragility aside the triggers really grow on you.) Hope Meepo makes a Flexy Hurricane varient in the future. And anyone thinking of getting Hadean why not get 2 Hurricanes instead? 😋

I'd definitely like to see this too. I ordered a meepo hurricane and like to go for causal rides at 15mph. I feel like I might have made a mistake because I want to get over 20miles range. There's a trail by my house that's 18miles so it makes me wonder if I got the Zeus over the meepo if id be able to do it there and back.
@@brockschroeder9022 There are some people reporting only 18 miles range on the Meepo Hurricane in FB groups. But that might be trashing it the whole way. Who knows. That's why I'm super curious about a legit range test.
Honestly, your videos are awesome, really professional, interesting and a real help. Thanks very much for that. I ordered a Meepo Hurricane 2 days ago since it seems to be a "no-brainer" with many qualities mixed-up but sometimes I hesitate to cancel my order for the Zeus since I'm looking for range... But for the price and value, the Meepo really got me and as you said, its range is not so bad.
Other things really helped me to chose the Meepo : the 1 year warranty,, the IP67 official certification, the warehouse in the US and soon in Spain, the customer service and the overall quality of the board parts. It seems to me that these points are better for Meepo compare to Owboard, especially for these prices.
Anyway, too bad that the range is so far from their marketing announcement (best range in AT seems 24,6 miles at 18 mph) and the Zeus perf...
im pretty sure im gonna do a video in mode 3 instead of 4 and cruise and seen what kinda range it gets. i was blastingg in mode 4 the entire time and rippen through grass. and with the power it puts out, im not surpised it draining faster. so im

I will do a dancing and sliding video this spring . i promise. weather in NJ still isnt above 50F and raining and some snow still. its crazy. but, it seems like it will change soon. i truly wanna retire from my career and do youtube full time. i literally have hundreds of ideas. so many wheels and boards and comparisons I wanna do and keep it that way. no other channel really focuses on VS/comparing instead of incentivized opinions.. zeus is my favorite carbon fiber board. so the Pro is definitely up there. not sure when there sending me mine, but its coming 💯🤙🏼
Interesting vid. Great to hear your opinion. I have the Zeus right now with about 100 miles on it. The Endeavor S is to arrive Monday and the Hurricane is to arrive in Dec. The Endeavor is in a class of its own. I am anxious to get the Hurricane to put it up against the Zeus. Right now, you would be hard pressed to get me off the Zeus. It has power. I am a 190 pound rider and hitting 30-31 mph with it with no issues. Brakes are pretty good. Stable as hell. Plus, being that I like to ride, I am hitting 40 miles between charges, and that is not Sunday driver riding. It will be interesting to compare the Hurricane and the Zeus as they basically have the same motors with about the same Kv rating. I am running the Cloud wheels, so need to put the street wheels on and calculate out the tooth count. Either way, any of these boards would be GREAT boards to have…although the Hadean IS over priced. Nice vid…always like to hear your opinion on the boards in the market. Keep’m coming!!

Stellar review/edit once again! A real world honest comparison of the 3 current contenders. lol @ WowGo 3X mention when referencing power (riding this now for 2 years but outliving the range even packing an extra battery) . This OG is going for the stability/range of the Zeus. Wished it had a bamboo deck but the carbon likely gives it the reported stability and the 6" wheels will hopefully smooth that out more.

It's the best to hit 35 mph in no time, dkp trucks will be the end of you. The last thing you will experience is the speed wobbles, the moment after you lay on the ground bleeding.

@@sebastianm.christiansen6278 stability is subjective.. i have zero issues at high speeds with them.. my onsra black carve with evolve 32T pullies and 100-120mm street wheeles gets up to 34-35mph.. even more if i use board bumper pullies (23T-25t).. just like any other sport, jus requires practice: i mention that in my first zeus video as well..

awesome review. It's a tough choice for me between the Hurricane and the Zeus. I value range but looking for a powerhouse as well. I like riding with street wheels and I appreciate the review done on them. Exactly what I was looking for. Still a tough decision because I am a bigger guy 235 lbs and want the range of 25 to 30 miles. I dont think the hurricane will get me there.

Nice video. The hadean is a great looking deck and I like bamboo decks about her flex, but I think too, the hadean is way overpriced. The GTR is a great board, but for this pricepoint technical not up to date. In 2022 it‘s an old board. I think evolve have to discount the hadean, because it‘s an update to the old GTR.
How do you like the street wheels on these boards vs staying with AT wheels? Worth getting the 2-1?

@@itsbrianchen You probably missed it but in the recap he says the Zeus can hit 37 mph on 44T pullies and 120 mm cloudwheels, which is very differnt from the 15T 96 mm wheels they were using.

Honestly, I believe they forgot about turbo mode. Because my Zeus has got me 63 kmh on the 120 mm cloud wheels. It totally could be because the wheels size, but I just don't think that's why. You either disabled turbo mode or had it on 20% percent battery.
In future videos I would be nice to see the remote displays to be able to follow along

The "protection" around the cables for the motors of the Meepo are just cosmetic. It offers very low protection and when a stand has been cut it undoes completely quickly. Also, water can enter into the cables and regardless what type of grommet or seal you use water will follow the cables into the board.
When you do these drag races, please let know how much riders weigh, 10KG lighter rider is very noticable during a dragrace. Imo the Hadean is an insane beast when it comes to acceleration and has great top speed aswell. The thing why I always choose Evolve is the remote, nothing comes close, its just so much more FUN then any other board with their cheap chinese roll over remotes.
we are all under 158lbs.. mostly 150-155lbs.. check out the other races after this.. u will see the evolve basically beat everyone off the line. but the hurrican still beats it after 20 feet or so.. but the evolve does pass the eovan gts.. i just recently put boardbumpers 23t with 120 cloudwheels on the hadean. and its the fastest setup iv ever ridden.
And I just got my Zeus 🙄. Now I see a hurricane In My future 🤣

Goddamn, Meepo really has wiped the floor with all the competition. Getting all that for currently under £1k (black friday sale). They top out with it all. It's an ugly board, the anti-sink plates add to the chonk-factor but willing to forgo aesthetics for such a beast of a board. Some paint, custom grip tape and lose those sink plates for something more streamline would help. I like evolves trucks so in an ideal world have the Meepo Hurricane with Evolve trucks. Hope they make a flexy hurricane varient too. Despite wanting all that stuff, looks like my next board will be the hurricane

The lack of battery percentage on the hurricane is incredibly frustrating. Even my old v3 had a percentage. I just have to rough guess now on my hurricane. Awesome board though. The evolve remote is leagues above any other remote I’ve used, and is made of metal. The old remotes were crap, but the new ones are amazing.

What pulleys did you use for the hurricane??? It only comes with propietary pulleys for street.
Dude I've started to watch a bunch of esk8 vids as I'm thinking (just thinking) of getting into the sport. As an avid EUC'r, I'm pondering if a high(er) end esk8 can be a good supplement to wheels. I watched a few of your recent vids (incl the battle royale of the above 3 & the less than stellar Kaly experience) & I gotta say I've enjoyed it. You're one of the least "used car salesman" (for lack of a better term) dude on the scene. Keep it up! Btw, the Hadean is outta my league & I'm having a hard time deciding btwn the Zeus & Hurricane. As a newb on esk8s, I should go with the Zeus but I'm liking the power of the Hurricane & I also have the B-One Hercules in mind as they're all in the same ballpark, price wise & specs wise.. Fred, I see that Ownboard provides motor bash guards for the 6 inch pneumatic (AT) wheels for the Ownboard Zeus. If I purchase the Zeus, can I use the AT bash guards for the 120mm Cloud Wheels set up?
u can ask them. but its VERY low so they dont come with them on the 120 clouds

What makes the Carbon deck better than the Bamboo deck (I say better cause of the price diff) or is it completely personal pref?
def personal preference… but the bamboo absorbs more road imperfections. making it more comfortable. it also has great rebound for carving, dancing and sliding.. ill never understand how/why ppl think carbon/stiff decks are more “stable”.. if im riding over 25mph, and i hit crack in the road with a stiff deck, im gonna feel that MUCH MORE than a bamboo flex deck. also, no one else has a 12s setup with a flex deck with 2 in 1 and all these features. no one
How do you think the Onsra Black Carve 2 would have compared to these three (especially in acceleration, top speed, and braking)? Great test between these three by the way.

I think I'm still in camp Zeus for the range and stability. Definitely looks like you could carve better at lower speeds with the other boards though. I guess that's to be expected.
I was originally going for the Zeus due to having no experience on DKP trucks. I also like the fact that it was quite a bit lighter than the Hurricane in weight...for transporting and dragging around. Could not resist the black Friday pricing on the Hurricane; would have been a tougher choice if Ownboard's sale was closer in price and their warranty being also 1 year. While I am waiting around for sea snail shipping watching reviews, it looks like I would have been happy with either board.
@@UrbanSniper308 The Zeus is on black Friday sale for $1,399.00 right now so only $100 more than the Hurricane. The extra range is worth it to me. I read some reports in FB groups of people only getting 18-20 miles out of the Hurricane and Scott Davies on youtube who is a heavier rider got 37 miles out of the Zeus with cloud wheels. Either way though I think you are right both are gonna be fine and enjoyable for most people.
@@NickDelDuca ok yeah, the price difference is closer than i initially thought...if i configure the shopping carts where both boards have pneumatic and cloud wheels it's only ~ $160. Just word of warning the $1399 Zeus is the street version that does not come with motor bash guards.
Dkp with venom bushings is my perfect ride for carving and top speed riding. I run super hard tall barrels and it feels super stable even at 35

How’s the comfort on the hurricane? I got kinda done with carbon decks as all my others were savage on my feet/legs after a few miles
It’s definitely stiff, The Hurricane is my first eskate so I’m not by any means experienced but with AT wheels I still felt it in my feet by the end of my 5+ mile rides.

yup: the bamboo hadean. NO ONE else has a flex deck WITH this power and 12s and all these features.. the carving with flex deck has incredible rebound. customers service is top notch. quality is top

(The bamboo hadean) because of its platform, features power and range.. the carbon I have tried and i think its the best looking board out there.. I might get one or another bamboo hadean.. my hurricane has been down for 2 months now 😡

I think they both look really good from video and pics, which is the only thing I can go off of since I haven’t seen either one in person. Would agree with you that the Carbon version is the best looking board I’ve seen so that is what I have been looking at more but yours and other videos have really talked up the bamboo for the fun factor. Checked that website you recommended and they have both the carbon and the bamboo in stock so it’s between these 2. Almost like looks vs fun factor now?
