- I wanted to shoot one of my latest videos, "Engine Rebuild Part 2," in a unique way. I often times get 360 shots of things I'm working on by placing it on a turntable throughout the build, so for this project I decided to build a rig that circles my project while I'm building it.

that is a solid rig, i want to build something similiar (though a lot smaller/simpler) for my diy vids! So many youtubers put out crappy vids, so it's always nice when you come across a channel that puts in the extra work to make their videos watchable
Fantastic. Love your creations.
wow possibly one of the coolest at home projects ive seen
Keep going with this videos. Love your stuff man. Please don't stop
Nice work. It was cool watching the engine videos.
Great video once again, really makes me want to get on and make some stuff thanks.
Wow. This is really impressive.
Will, you are amazing!
As always: awesome video. You're starting to get less nervous (or at least it seems that way), cheers!
you got me into wanting to edit my videos better, you also inspired me to start my own production company. Thanks will.
Hey Erick, how's the production going? I love seeing people inspired by others!
Awesome stuff!
Really cool effect for your videos!
Yes. It did come out great.
Excellent!
You are a smart guy, Will.
nice nice ! keep up the good work !!
Impressive!
Thank you Will!
Damn impressive.....
It's a shame you don't have more views and subscribers, you put out some really quality, interesting content.
Whats up man...i love your design...i wish i would've seen this sooner...are you still building/designing different setups
Love it! As soon as you zoomed into the motor, I said, hey, that's the motor I used for my Home Theater project. It made a huge mirror disappear into the ceiling, revealing the theater behind it. Love those motors. I picked mine up at a U-Pull-it auto wrecker, lol.
You answered every question I got in the video thanks! :-)
Great setup! As you are using multiple cams, how are you recording the audio? Are you using an external recorder?
good staff!
Oh man, if only I hade the time and money to do something like this.
You can also look at gearings if you want to make it slower
Nice
Amazing ! You did this in 2013. Very early!
nice project. so what is on the top floor ? nice pad.
You can put +12v and +5v to get 7v though.
Nice work....can you tell me what motor that you use in that rig?
Rad! More vids please
Hey Will, what can you tell me about the four lights you were using in this video?
Keep up the great work.
What about [maybe someday] moving the rig towards a wall or a corner and using the wall background to cut background clutter, although I know it would prob. take too much work.
Then there's the portable wall [foam-core] section that could be placed between the light fixtures.
Sorry I'm getting way to into this this, I think it still works great the way you have it.
Any reason why you didn't weld the arm together? Is that so if it needs to be adjusted?
THE most dangerous workspace filmwise.
How can I get in contact with you man? Awesome work.
A standard computer PSU doesn't have a 6V pin, that is either +3,3V, +5V or +12V. Probably 5V.
Why not put the lights on the boom for seamless smoothness?
you should mount your lights on your spinning devise so they are spinning as well then you wouldn't need to cut out the parts were the camera goes behind the light.
just a thought
It looked like one of the weights was just sitting on the arm. If so, are you not worried about it falling?
Just making sure, hahaha.
the cables for the motor isn't nearly isolated enough..
how do you deal with 30minutes T2i record time
Is this a re-upload?
Why didn't you put the light behind the cam?
why not just have light on the rig ?
Hello dp you have the spec
Hello how can i make one
and a little slow woul be really nice cuz it got me really dizzy
You can buy cheap variable voltage regulator from ebay and smoothly set your RPM. I have very similar 12V windshield wiper motor hooked to 19V laptop power supply and slowed down to about 2V by said regulator and even at 2V it has a lot of torque. If you are interested, look at my channel, I have video of my motor hot-wired to battery, regulator and wireless relay switch to control direction.
Marbl. Should pay you for it
hey will ! whos the girl ?
I don't understand english language
