Emco PC5 Centroid CNC Acorn Conversion: Part 8 Setting Z & X Overall Turns Ratio and Lash Comp

This was an impromptu video, but I felt it would be beneficial to those setting up a lathe. Overview on setting Overall turns ratio on Z & X. NOTE: Your machine already needs to be setup. steps per motor revolution, axis are moving in the proper direction and homing needs to be setup before doing Overall Turns Ratio and Lash Compensation)

Marty great video. Could use inches per revolution for your feed rates so you wouldn't have to call up G98 before every move? Is G99 a modal code in CNC 12 lathe version?

I'm fine with the way I happen do it because I am in and out of it so many times. Truth be told, doing videos makes things 3x longer to get done....:-)
