Great video! Btw it's not Tree-moo-ee, it's Trim UI as in a a Trimmed User Interface. The reason Mario won't go in Mario Kart is because somewhere in the chain, something is detecting a pirated game. Many DS games used that mechanism.

Many people cry about no r3 and l3. Then can't name a game this can play that needs it. Lol.
People cry about weird things in this hobby. Like black bars on the side for this device, then they talk favorably about the rgb30 which has black bars on top and bottom for everything except Pico 8
For me It was more so just a back up for button combos due to the button placement of start and select in Retroarch. Normally I’d press Select + another button for hotkeys, but then when those aren’t in a good spot I’d use the L3 click + another button for hotkeys.
@seanbrent4245 I couldn't disagree more. Tue best solution I see for you is stop making pointless hot keys. The systems this can play used so few buttons. Youa already have a button layout we would have killed for in the 80s and early 90s.
@seanbrent4245 to each their own I suppose. Some people need to over complicated everything. For their fake "ocd" and "anciety" I guess. Oh well.
@@EatMe420 I definitely don’t think it’s a big deal in any way especially when the handheld has a button that brings up a menu and such. The device is just fine with out them.

I want one, every time I'm thinking how awesome will be for Sony to launch a modern PSP, this little console is looking similar to my fav console of all time, I hope they will make a V2 with OLED screen instead of IPS, when I'm dreaming about PSP I'm dreaming about a one with OLED screen but Sony will never launch one :c

I've not noticed that happening
A way to prevent this is to assign silent mode to the fn key. If you enable this and turn the key on (push it right), the hissing will stop. However, you obviously will not have sound.
What things will make this device great
- Better CPU to run smooth everything
- More RAM
- More Storage than 256GB
- OLED Screen
- Bluetooth connectivity to connect some AirPods or something similar
- L3 and R3 on thumbsticks
- PS2 emulation along with the existing ones right now
I would've pay more for a console like this one
At this point just buy a retroid pocket 4, that's impossible in this price range.
I feel like I'm the only one who didn't get the Vertical Shooter and Pokemon "Best" folders. :(
Anyway, NDS is absolutely rubbish, primarily because the controls just aren't lined up properly (and unlike other emulators) I can't seem to figure out just how TO get them to work properly. :(
Other than that, the device is great. I've stretched out all the games to full screen, which looks awesome,...even with old GB games! :D

No only rockchip cpu's have jelos. This one has an allwinner cpu.

2. lights
I really fell for the device and ended up ordering x55
i still feel should have gone for Trimui but, because of several disadvantages you get along with psp vita looking console
1. largely underpowered can play only till PS1 anything over that is trial by error
2. no way to hook up on large screen ports/wireless
3. no Wi-Fi so no retro achievement / scraping /multi player /net play or port master
4. no Bluetooth so no controller and even no in game multiplayer
5. screen tearing because of unoptimized UI software
6. No cfw and never will as creators need a. popularity b. open-source codes, don't know about both as i find very less videos actually covering Trimui

Your statement about "NO CFW" is totally wrong. There's already a custom firmware, not yet released publicly, tomato os. It has several youtube videos about it too, here on CZcams

This is confusing. You bought an x55 and you are disappointed with several things the trimui can't do? But a lot of the things you say it can't do it actually does? This does do wifi, it does play some Dreamcast, n64 and PSP like the x55 and does do retroachievements. And there is no screen tearing. Maybe you have confused this for something else.
