I really like the LMG that the Trooper came with, but that stupid double barrel AR drives me nuts. The worst part is that, the rest of the rifle is actually pretty decent, but making it a double barrel just RUINS it for me.

14:18 This is why your line keeps improving. I wish more companies would do the same. There's no reason why figures coming out in 2024 can't look up or have the range of a 65yr old. It's complacency, and it is the death of innovation.
Your too bias on Hasbro and Joes 2bh, look up Antony's Customs review on it, Your figures are good focus on that and ignore your past employer. Also can you make series 5 knees like the one on the glow in the dark Swarm? Not sure if its the plastic of choice but that figure is butter smooth on articulation, where as the other figures are too stiff to the point you need to heat them up, some times its the upper part of the knee other its lower the arms are fine its just the knees, seems to be an issue on pin-less as Hasbro has the same issues.
Thanks for continuing to give us an insiders view of the action figure industry. And thanks for calling out the deficiencies in the various Hasbro lines. Collectors shouldn’t have to modify their figures to get better range of motion after paying $25-$35.

As an experienced collector and player with loads of Classified and Valaverse Action Force figures… You’re not being too harsh. Love Joe. Love AF. Keep doing what you’re doing because it’s pushing others to do better.
As a retired soldier I think the best not coming off is dumb, and having the best be able to go over the poncho is accurate to what real world soldiers do.
I watched Tony's video and like he said the figure can't even look at his gun in a prone position lol! Also his backpack has those stupid pegs meant for tools from a previous figure lol! I think it was Outback
I was wondering if you are considering doing head packs of unmasked faces. I'm really interested in making my troopers look more distinctive. I like the idea of my heroes being more individualized than the villains.

Airborne was the one with the helmet night vision goggles very similar to your design. I had big hopes on both of the anniversary figures but it’s a total disappointment to say the least.
He's absolutely right about the dogtags. My Drill Sergeant told a dude to tuck in his "...Dogtags Tom Cruise!"
All the originall G.I. Joe figures had dog tags, being this is an anniversary figure, it should be obvious why they are included

Just complaining, wow.. His complaining making me want to toss my Action Force in the trash.
I sold mine for a good profit on wave one. They were awful. The plastic was hard and shoulders look ridiculous and unrealistic. The weapons gun handles are huge. After wave one I was done with this line. I also bought the points figure and sold it for 50 with duster head on it.
Beast came out in 2019. I believe that was the 1rst 1/12 scale marvel legend to have the upper ball with the reverse ab crunch. One the best legends figures imo

Bobby, I had to laugh and shake my head: you were glad they went to the see-thru box, but you just recently switched to a blister card. I do get that it brings packagings costs down and we see more of the figure (or actually still “see” the figure, but going to blister, although appeases the MOC crowd, makes those who want to “let the figs out of the suffocation” the option to interact with the figs when we want to, and store them away for display when we don’t.
I walked around looking at ALL of Hasblow's offerings scattered around Walmart and I don't understand how or who wants a Fat-Neck Vader or a 25 dollar Transformer that looks like it's overpriced by at least $15. I really don't understand how they're still in Business.
Airborne came with the NVG's. The backpack is re-use from Outback, arguable on of Classifieds better figures.
I think the head not looking up is a huge mistake, i cam see the pouches constantly falling off very annoying. the rest is minor.
I had heard there were QC issues with the hands cracking on the Spider-man figure. Not sure how widespread it may have been though.

I am a fan of your figures, but can't that Joe kinda push the neck back and then look up better? I gotta say, I like the plastic of Action Force weapons because it doesn't warp as far as I experienced it.

Stop pretending that your SO much better I've had QC problems with literally everything Ive gotten from action force. Sgt Slaughter's leg broke, Desert Rats arm is stressed at the shoulder, Condor's ankle is frozen (heat didn't help), and weapons blast effects and mags don't fit. Stop worrying about hasbros short comings and start focusing on your own product

Why didn't they make the Original Air/ Land/ Sea Adventure Team guys?
The Adventure Team came out in 1970. Hasbro was trying to commemorate the release of the original Joe figures from 1964. I hope that they will release a Classified version of the Adventure Team in the near future but, given Hasbro’s track record, I’m not holding my breath waiting for it.
Overall I liked the 60th Anniversary GI Joe Army Infantry figure. But yes there are a number of lazy design points, which is just par the course for Hasbro at this point. The neck movement limitation is the worst for me. Not being able to pose this shooting in the prone position is a major downer for me. Also, I wish these figures were able to shoulder the weapons much better.

The G.I. Joe figure came with dog tags, that is why they are included.
I never got this because of no unmasked head - which I don't see how they could have done because of the 2 heads

Isn't the idea behind the variable pouches that these guys fit for army build, and then you can make a bit more different looks? I'm not saying that the execution is great though too.
Please don't use the ab crunch. They limit twisting ability on the figures and are incredibly ugly. Sure, they might have good range sometimes, but its not worth the lazy implementation. A properly implemented ball joint or double ball joint (barbell or dumbbell as some call it) at both the waist and chest will always be the best form of articulation for torsos. If correctly engineered, they'll have plenty of range and be very aesthetically pleasing.
That torso articulation is not good! You can't rotate the waist once you used the crunch, is very limiting.
Should be the other way, like GI Joe does. Just well executed

No the stand does not suggest this. The figure comes with guns meant to be fired from the prone position and it fails miserably. The stand is just there to help it when it is on the shelf and neutral. Its not included because they just want it neutral always. Its meant to be played with and posed. Thats why it has all the articulation. If it was meant to stand neutral then it would be 5POA. To suggest it’s supposed to be that way is major league copium to the infinite degree. There are plenty of figs in the line that can look way up. They screwed up during design

I think they started doing that reverse ab crunch with the first Retro Spidey from 2020 and they've been doing it for a ton of Spider Men since, unless Spider Shot has something I'm missing.

Mostly fair review, but saying they got the idea for stands like you invented them is just as crazy as people saying you stole the articulation from legends, but people say youre too critical but it seems to come from more disappointment because you expect more as opposed to spite, also the pouches popping out isnt as much a problem when the figure can barely move 😂

I picked up the jazwares call of duty figures. Not great, but you can put stuff in the vest pouches
tunnel ray has them with no flip, parth wolf spider does flip up not a 4 way night vision scope setup though
The neck hinge is old and outdated, double ball jointed neck is a way better system,the problem is Hasbro sucks ass at doing them,buy a Jada figure or an import an see how to do them right

The main troop builders I wanted for my collection are the army green camo figures. To put it short, I have 5 Sniper Blowback figures and 1 of these. The green isn’t dark enough, they barely tried. Is he standard or desert, I don’t know. Valaverse wins this round easily. 🍻
Although the poncho does seem to be very durable. I’ve been putting it through a rugged outdoors course three days a week for six weeks total now .speculations are it was definitely built the last.😂😂

Bobby implementing the DC Icons into ML giant sized should be well praised. The best articulation we get on ML so far is because of dc icons. I have the icons and they didn't execute the mid torso articulation too well, you can twist or move as well as the ML figures.
