I use a rattle in the belly's of some mylar zonker patterns I tie. Usually on an articulated shank. I think it makes a difference. Especially at night with the big brownies.
Great video. I’m wanting to use streamers in the creeks and rivers I fish this summer for smallmouth. This was super helpful. 🎣
Good stuff. Very informative
Is it true that on dark days use dark streamers and on bright days use bright streamers?
Good stuff as usual,do you fly tying classes during the winter Kenosha sportsmen used to do them the charter captains would tie for the up coming year & they would have a fly of the week to tie for regular fishermen it was a good time
Paul Pascoe I do periodically but not anything formal. Just laid back tying with locals on Saturday mornings
How long is your tippet section? Thanks!
Great question. Usually 3’.
What weight rod do you use to fish these ? And can you link to the product you make to the sink tips ?

I use many different rod sizes with these sink tips. Even all the way down to a 7’ 3wt with some of those small muddlers. With the D&Ds I usually use a 5wt all the way up to an 8wt.
