The cheapest upgrade at the lowest cost is a bigger rear sprocket- so many people upgrade the battery + controller yet don't think to upgrade brakes- enjoy 👌

Would you say it’s worth it over the Sur Ron 2023
Hey, I haven’t had a chance to try the new Sur Ron yet but I can say I’m very impressed with the Talaria! I will do a comparison video with both soon!
It depends on what you want it for
For neighborhoods/streets Sur Ron is way better
For off-road/bmx the Talaria is better
The main reasons is size and the gearbox talaria is slightly bigger but the sur Ron is slightly smaller so it’s more maneuverable and easier to wheelie so with the new 38ah battery on the sur Ron (the 2023 comes with it which is the same as the talaria) it has the same if not better range than the talaria. They also both go around 46mph but the talarias throttle is very cheap and not very good. So
if it’s both 2023 versions I’d say sur Ron but once again it’s just if you want on-road or off-road and also just keep in mind that you have to do an annual oil change on the talaria which is what makes me pick the sur Ron over it sur Ron also has WAYYY more aftermarket mods and accessories that the talaria just doesn’t have I’ve also heard that the talarias customer service sucks really bad aswell so the talaria is fine out of the box but you can’t really do anything else to it compared to the sur Ron

What do you mean exactly? My friend is trying to decide which one to buy his 14yr old boy.. it will be mainly used in the street and neighbourhood but he was leaning towards Talaria
@@freak1sees714 well unless it’s considered a moped in your state it’s illegal in my state (missouri) it’s a moped so it’s street legal but if it’s not considered a moped then it’s illegal
The reason the sur Ron would probably be better is that if it is illegal to ride where your from it is smaller which makes it seem more like a bike so you won’t be as likely to get caught
Also it is just a better bike in general it costs less has WAYYY better upgrades and other things stock they are basically the same bike
So, if you want an ON ROAD bike I would get a sur Ron (I am also 14)

Well im in Australia and I think that if one was illegal than so would be the other.. but that not being a factor as we don't care whether they are or are not legal.. my friends kid is 14 so he can't be a legally licenced rider anyway and they took my licence off me (44) so I've been researching surrons for a good six months.. don't know anything about Talaria's though.. but you make very good points about smaller, lighter more after market parts... Thanks buddy.. it's a no brainer

Are the fastace or factory talaria forks better?
I have only used the Fastace fork so I can’t really say, depending on what you plan on doing with it the Fastace has been great tho!
