The Sketch Show started in 2001. Lee Mack was the lead writer, but behind the scenes Ricky Gervais & Jimmy Carr had a hand in the writing too. The 1st series won a BAFTA, but ITV cancelled it due to poor viewing figures and, apparently, the final 2 episodes have never been shown.
