  • Hello friends,
you have landed on this fun area where you will learn a little bit about Autism and how the world around it is discovered.
Our daughter was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the age of 2 with level 2 in both areas (communication and social) the levels can change during her lifetime anywhere from 1 to 3 with 3 needing the most support. She can be reevaluated at age 5 to see if anything has changed especially since she does receive therapy. Come along and learn how she interacts with these toys which are not necessarily specialty toys.
Are you a lover of all cute rainbocorns like our daughter? We recently celebrated a birthday and she got to pick out several cute toys. Two kittycorn series 2 made the cut and now she is ready to unwrap these cuties!
If you are like us and don't know much about rainbocorns in general, they come in these surprise eggs either as kitties, puppies, bunnies, fairies or mermaids, correct me if there are more. These toys are for ages 3 and up as some of them do contain small items which could pose a choking hazard. Our daughter who is on the spectrum does not ask for much but these rainbocorns she could have one each day.
Little by little she is opening up to other toys as well but we want to share with you how special needs kids like and play with regular toys just like any other child. Of course do not leave them unattended and be ready to put it away if there is overstimulation.
Today she is unwrapping two kittycorns and we cannot wait to see if it is twin kitties!

*our experience with the slime has been that it sticks to the clothes and is hard to get off. If you let it dry a bit first it is not so bad.
