Wow, that blew me away :) Very nice cam.
Have you already heard of the new SAC? FDRX3000?
I have not. Head has been in the dirt while I was testing this and some other stuff. I better start saving up :D
please do a review on the firefly 6s
In your opinion with sony action cam has the best noise reduction function ?
please add test sony as 50
hey mark. i gotta thank you so much for helping me decide what camera to get before i got one. i was about to get a SjCam4000 then i found your channel and was introduced to the sony line where i found much better. I decided to get the sony HDR AZ1 and it is amazing so thanks. Good luck with the marriage.
Glad it helped and thanks for taking the time to leave feedback.
No problem
what did you use Yi Color or Flat?
I'm trying to appear to the Sony x1000v. Trying to decide which one is better. Olympus TG Tracker or the Sony x1000v. There is no videos of pairing the two. hopefully you'll have some time. thank you.
If you're interested in the Sony ActionCam be sure to check out Nic's post below about the new X3000. More details here: www.reddit.com/r/sonyactioncam/comments/4pj5tc/sony_fdr_x3000_to_be_released_in_japan/
you really need to check out the Olympus tg tracker 4k 30p. it just came out.
can you please do a review on it?
Want to just time and budget getting in the way. It's on my list of cameras to check out.
Nice video, they allowed you to take the camera to Roller coaster?
Really frowned upon and depends on the park. I'd call ahead to see what their policies are. I use the chest mount or in this case the Strap mount to keep it locked to me. Disney has gone and also banned all selfie sticks from the parks because people were bringing it on rides causing tons of issues. Just depends on the operator and how flashy you are with it. Universal parks are also really against it. If they tell you to put it away, best not make a fuss.
MarkHawkCam yeahh, last time i went to Beijing water cube trying to take footage inside one of the tube, it doesnt allow.. looking forward to you review with gopro. thanks for the massive footage :DDD
+MarkHawkCam have they banned the short non expandable sticks?
What about HDR-AS300 and FDR-X3000?
Reaching out to Sony but not sure when they'll be state side.
Stabilization mode is off ?
Correct, no stabilization at 4K. Only 2.5K(30fps), 1440p(30fps), and 1080 (30/60fps)
What’s the best setting for roller coaster pov footage
Looks like it has problems with sound as a lot of yi of first generation
I wouldn't judge the sound off this video. To be fair its cutting out a lot of the wind noise and inside it's underwater housing. I'll have more examples of the audio soon in the review and especially the side by sides.
+MarkHawkCam thx,waiting for that!
Actually it sounds like "stuttering" when the record-volume gets too high. That's not good, I could understand if it would sound overdriven, but the result is like completely losing the audio for fractions of seconds, playing a fraction again, losing it again and so on. And the fact that it's in the underwater housing should even prevent something like that, I bet it would have been even way worse without the housing...
