Home Free is an “a cappella” band. All vocal, no instruments. They won the NBC show the Sing Off in 2013 the year after Pentatonix won. Adam Rupp is their beatboxer and has won the world championships of beatboxing a couple of times. You don’t even miss instruments when Adam is beatboxing. Good reaction

I would call him more than a beatboxer; he is a true vocal percussionist. You should hear his harmonica simulation. The Home Fries call it a "nomonica." When he and his brother Chris formed Home Free, he taught himself how to beatbox. His has added so much to his solos since this performance. His arrangement of Do You Hear What I Hear is my favorite Home Free cover. Some of my favorite Home Free original songs are Dive Bar Saints, Snow Globe, and Land of the Free.

Btw, even though he can do “Beat Boxing” I prefer to call this vocal percussion… different than what people typically think of when they hear “beat boxing”.

I don't know if I'm the ONLY one that mentioned you might like this but... The drum part, I think, is usually called vocal percussion. They do this in their shows in order to give the other singers a little rest. Adam has a degree in performance trumpet. Adam and his brother Chris founded the a cappella group Home Free. Chris has gone solo but Adam holds the group together with his amazing vocal percussion. Add to that that they have two bassists (with tenor range) and two real tenors, make an amazing sound. There are a few songs Adam sings in, he is a tenor, but he is not as confident in his singing. Adam taught himself to do what he does and also learned some drumming, maybe so he can make movements like a real drummer.
I love Home Free and wanted to share what they can do so I suggested this as you had a lot of beat boxing content. The full group has a country focus but are much more versatile. They do a cover of Boyz 2 Men's End of the Road that is stellar. When they went on the Sing Off (a cappella TV game show like the voice) one of the judges was from Boyz 2 Men and loved them. They won the show the season after Pentatonix won.
I'm so glad you got a kick out of this and sent a little support just for doing this! Thanks!

Some insanely talented people in the world!
    3:41 also,by the dictionary:
imitate the sounds of a drum machine with the voice. Now, the less stiff definition incorporates the turntable, DJ aspect. But one needs a basic understanding of beats to eventually make it to the more complicated things.
I mean, it was used as far back as the days of Vaudeville in the 1800s. Hey, folks needed to imitate a beat without the instruments. Necessity is the mother of invention haha.)
Of course, that is not at all what beatboxing is identified as these days (and it’s fine because all things change and evolve, rightly so. XD (sorry, when I took music history classes I was fascinated with all of this.)
