My understanding is that a lot of Biden's team are intrinsically tied to him, so if he goes, they go. Consequently, you end up with a lot of people in Biden's inner circle pushing him towards podiums, because they're thinking about their own career before the good of the country.

This is not to be seen as a great fault of Rory or his guest; the main and lion's share of the blame is due to what has become the utter propagandistic character of mainstream media. Were they not doing their job, and did this somehow escape their notice? Or were they aware of it and chose to become partisan hacks rather than being journalists? Neither of those is good.

Fall in line you are wrong and it is not too late to change. Trump is VERY COMPETENT, I tell you this from Europe. Trump has a stellar foreign policy and the world was never as safe. In four short years Biden reversed foreign policy to get us to an imminent WW3 in four short years. Now, as Democrats used tech money to massively corrupt the electoral register last time to steal the election (using COVID excuse for a massive postal voting call as an excuse 50M+ votes) and Republicans have not been able to correct these registrations (it takes ages as Judges require three visits to each address to show that the person registered does not live there or that the person is an alien and not entitled to vote), Democrats perhaps feel they can get a person with dementia elected. However, they need real votes also... the tech money could not corrupt the electoral system so completely... and if people with Democrat persuasion and Trump haters do not turn up to vote in sufficient numbers, even with the fraudulent system they wont succeed in getting Biden elected. We shall see. This is why Trump said he would only accept the results if he felt they were fair. They wont be! but with some luck it wont matter and Trump will win.

@@emtaylor597 I work in care and you know what, that person is correct. This is very clearly a dementia patient being abused. 45 or 95, if his family are the ones abusing him he should be removed from that environment for his own safety, and frankly it should not matter who he is. Everyone has a right to dignity no matter of age, rich or poor, and to be honest it does hit differently when the person is rich, because rich people will fight you with everything they have to continue to abuse grandpa, and all because they know it makes them look bad to their peers and don't want the gossip. After Saville I would have thought the British had learned to see what's in front of them a bit better tbh.

Yes Alastair, this was the only way to remove him; early debate, so Democrats have time to remove him before Democratic Convention. Spot on Alastair.

But why did the DNC make it impossible for anyone other than Biden run and win the primary race?

I thought it was an interesting point as well. Now they have to show Biden the video of his performance.

@@michellebarbour5777these people do not have a plan. They only care about keeping their jobs, and that only happens if Biden somehow gets re elected.

I agree that picking the candidate that can beat Trump is paramount, and I feel picking up swing votes is the most essential consideration.
