I don't think it was such a surprise they came 2nd. They are one of the favorite bands in Finland currently and definitely have a big fan base. Also for certain voting demograpics I can see this as a clear favorite. 😅 Also the live performance was so much fun 🎉

Congratulations for the second place, a very nice show and I'm glad that it didn't finish in the last place as the jury put, I love Cha Cha and this band but unfortunately only one goes to Eurovision, for me both go to Eurovision. 12 points from Romania
I thought the "Budapest, Bucharest, Pusta & Dracula" part would get all Romanians on this ;) I myself loved this, this was maybe the most "Finnish" entry, but maybe not for Eurovision ;)
Yeah the band is brilliant. They have many good songs. I recommend Lännen Nopein Mies, Elämän Abc. Music videos are brilliant.

When this was placed 7 in the running order, I already knew this performance was going to be so much fun, and it really was. Brilliant way to close the show!
What matters to me is that I had fun watching this. They give off great vibes and it makes me happy that these amazing people did so well in a strong year.

The running style is called naruto run :). Portion Boys have lot of these small details included into the lyrics/videos that only a small portion of people are aware of :). I have picked up a some of these in the lyrics of the songs but this naruto run thing I didn't know until somebody mentioned it earlier in these comments. :)

When I see performances as unifying as this, I sometimes think that each country should be able to send 2 songs to Eurovision and create a quarter-final system in May where only one song (wanted by all voters at the 'Eurovision) would ultimately be chosen to represent his country in the semi-finals and potential final. that might be an interesting idea 🤷♂😅
