I have watched this video about 90 times now. Within the last 2 weeks. Can't get enough of it and I cry EVERY SINGLE TIME that I watch it. Thats the most emotional version of any song that I have ever heard!!!
I cry every time I see that video. Keala has actually done several Broadway shows.
It's amazing that she's getting so much more exposure due to this movie. She's popular in the Broadway world, doing shows like Les Miserables, Waitress, etc. Loved your reaction, it shows how music can touch everyone.
Jordan, after seeing this i started watching other interviews. Hugh Jackman said he had sinus surgery just before this and the only way the Dr. would let him attend was if he did not exhort himself. He was doing all he could not to move around but you could see the spirit of her singing got to his soul. And they said the man at the piano was the one who wrote the song with a friend while on an airplane flight. You could see in his face how blown away he was with her singing his song.
