SCP 1386 is a white “Good Humor”-brand ice cream truck, in poor condition and lacking any images or descriptions of the products it sells. The van appears to be sapient, as it drives without a person behind the wheel; after the investigation of 3/15/12, it has been concluded that none of the doors or windows on the vehicle open through conventional means. The van plays instrumental melodies of “Pop Goes the Weasel” and “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” 24 hours a day, alternating between the two every four hours. On occasion, it has been known to play a version of “Greensleeves,” but will immediately switch to another song when in the presence of customers.
SCP1386 has a thin slot in the middle of its driver-side door, which only becomes visible when it dispenses the various ice cream products it sells. Along with the ice cream, the van slides out a small slip of receipt paper with a price written on it in what has been described as “very sloppy, but legible” handwriting. The van receives payment through the same slot it delivers ice cream from, and will drive away as soon as it is paid. The prices and flavors of the ice cream products it sells fluctuate daily, but it never runs out of its stock of items. Notable tests of the van are as follows.

In my neighborhood growing up, we had one regular ice cream man who looked pretty rough but would actually give out free candy to kids who couldn't afford to pay for ice cream. He was still doing the job years later when I moved out, and we never heard a single bad thing about him. It was very interesting
So, it's a mischievious ice cream truck that sometimes craves violence and won't be slighted, Like a fairy. Incredible.
Not really craves violence, since it normally gives people what they request without incident (so long as they play by the rules of course), but it is *extremely* dangerous if provoked

My parents weren't QUITE like that but yeah, we were the "go out and play, just be home in time for dinner" generation. Although I think if my mom _saw_ an ice cream van like the one in this SCP, she'd probably firmly, silently drag me back inside by my collar and refuse to say anything about it, other than "Just play inside for a while."

friend showed me this, and i'm an ice cream truck nerd so i saw some things here and there lol
1. the original truck was an AM General, not a freightliner style like how it's drawn
2. usually, the slot on those kinds of freightliner ice cream trucks is the top window closer to the drivers door, since the equipment would be right below where it opens in the video, making it inconvenient
3. on the ice cream truck style that's shown, there would be vents on the back doors

Epic. This is one of my favorite SCPs that's not as popular as SCP 682 or SCP 096.
An SCP that's not dangerous as long as you paid the exact amount in exchange for your Ice Cream order. Plus with a good sense of humor.

Maybe it’s alchemy you know maybe some guy or girl wanted to make ice cream so he created an ai for the truck to travel dispense and calculate money and orders and used magic to give the truck the ability to make any ice cream wanted and unlimited supply of material
But did they really have to be this aggressive?

As someone who legit did (kinda) grow up with a nostalgic-summers childhood like what's depicted here, this is EXTRA creepy. Of course, I never actually got to buy from the ice-cream truck very often, but it was always a nice, happy sound/moment when you heard it drive around the corner, or go through the park where you were playing with your parents. :)
Now I'm suddenly...VERY glad that all the ones I remember seeing (and the one in my neighborhood right now) were the kind that had visible drivers...

This SCP is like a more aggressive, and purposeful iteration of the Hell-bus.
There was one part of this video that stands out, that you sort of just overlooked as just a "oh, that is goofy" kind of thing. The being inside the ice cream truck seems to know about what day and holidays that land on certain days. It was able to know and understand that it was April Fool's day, and what it means. This would imply that it does have some sort of origin in the West. Whether or not it is a Western Country in this or another universe.
Not really the place it currently was operating in was the west (I think from the intro) so it also could've just read up on it to find out about summer (Aka the best time to operate)
@@GJikok Just because it is operating in the west doen't mean it comes from the west or from this dimension. It isn't really able to leave and learn about customs. So, how would it know.
Also, April is in the start of Spring, a time were it is still kind of cool and not really that hot.
No, it didn't. It was very clearly stated at the beginning of the video that it was SUMMER VACATION which, I'm pretty sure, still takes place during the SUMMER...the likes of which the month of APRIL is no part of...WOW.

The fact that they just played with the Ice cream menu even after the kids are eaten was kinda messed up, plus they are More capable of containing it than anyone else, it's not like they aren't holding some other things like that before, I mean one of the SCP entities are a fake bus 🚌 like bug creatures and they're housing a whole Hanger of em somewhere I know lol
