I'm sure he has seen this happen on mre than occasion. Note to self..don't take a gig on a Neil young tour unless you have no other options. Usually, it seems, that if a guy insults a pretty girl, there is a manipulative, jealous woman behind it. Not accusing, just saying. ?, in this case, it's different, right? Just a 'concerned' guy?

Graham your great Stephen is great David is great , However Neil has always been consistently enigmatic .The bands you and the others were pretty good but the best was Buffalo Springfield which disintegrated because Stills and Young could not artistically be together because they clashed on being both wanting to be the leader . Young is in another place from these days ,Dylan name checks him on Highlands and is on record saying that his melodies are up amongst the best ever , Mc Cartny , Thom York ,Eddie Vedder etc etc are people in the music world that all seem to understand that Young is special and not only that in my mind he is like builit that ricoches

If there was ever a group that overstated its importance, it's CSNY. Don't get me wrong, there's some good music there, but, in reality, there's very little. Neil did Deja Vu, and the Ohio single. That's 3 tunes (he's a co-writer on Everybody I Love You). The rest is forgettable. CSN had two other nice records, the first one and the one in about '78 with Shadow Captain and Dark Star. The rest is forgettable.

Amen, brother. I haven’t heard him make a solidly decent record since Broken Arrow. CSN’s best music has been with Neil. Neil’s worst music has been with them. Far as I’m concerned, NY lost the plot and is in full artistic decline since David Briggs’ death and virtually everyone else in his inner circle. The ones that could tell him when he’s full of shit. The way he left his wife, I’ve lost virtually all respect for him as a person. Artistically, he’s lost.
