q is a magazine show that’s unpredictable in the best sense - proud to be “a wild mix of culture by way of Canada” as described by the New York Times. The Globe & Mail noted the show’s “raging popularity across a variety of platforms -- podcasts, television, websites, satellite radio, terrestrial radio, and occasional live remote broadcasts."

you can predict human behavior. not all of it, but most, through understanding peoples motivations. you can even affect the behaviors and emotions of others. my special interest is to make the world a better place, so it includes learning social behaviors, understanding conflict and abuse, social bias, equal rights, judicial bias, construction, irrigation, aerodynamics, renewable clean fuel, simplified construction, i basically try to learn everything about everything when it comes to why people get depressed.

You're an awesome alien Shawn. I too have come to an early realization that I'm placed here in this human world to observe & understand their behavior & movement pattern to help unlock their inner potential. Live long & prosper

I feel it dude, having to learn everything with nonverbal communication is still a work in progress at 23. I hate how I don’t get naturally what others get naturally. It’s all good though. The thing is that I learn.

Am I alone (as an "aspie" (not that we still accept that term) in thinking that the recording of a mentor of his, also reiterates the idea that we are below the bar for significance? Almost as though "only a few" of us make it to whatever point where we are "relatable" and it's almost like he is being celebrated for being "normal enough" rather than valid while different?
Let me be clear, I am not looking for "adopted virtuous acceptance" nor do I expect that all of us " "qualify" " as "socially acceptable" but also... It should be acknowledged that we exist and are people even in spite of our "otherness"
And accepting "normal culture" is not so much an achievement but an acquiesce.

You notice how the umms and uhhs and filler words help keep the pace without silence? Would be too much info for most folks without them methinks. Might be an adaptation to "hold the floor" preventing being interrupted. Ive found myself using fillers when im thinking hard about what next I'd like to say. Wonder if its similar.
