Mr.Rajvir, i am really thankful to you for uploading this video and which is exactly suits to my application. Moreover i requested the same 6 moths ago.
You are welcome!
I just started working on Delta PLC . and this video is realy very much helpful for me.
Your welcome!
bom dia joia teria um email para contato como que faço no ispsoft?
teria o link do ladder ja montado
Dear Mr. Rajvir , Thank you very much for the video. Could you please explain about the logic for finding the stroke position using incremental encoders? . We are using this for the press machine in our factory.
GREAT VIDEOS. I would like to get videos from you on "analog input and output in PLC programming, where PLC is using with SCADA".
I have absolute rotary encoder with grey code output. how to program that encoder with my plc.? suggest me some tips for that.
Do you have a video or can you make a video with the same set up but with rslogix 500 for micrologix plc.
Sir I use for autonics make ep50s8 -360-3f-p-24 gray code absolut encoder and delta make ES2 plc so plz ask me how to program for position control and how to connect encoder
Nice and helpful video and sir did you make any video on LVDT or load cell control in programming ?
HELLO RAJVIR SIR I HAVE A QUESTION. I WANT TO INCREASE THE ENCODER PULSES USING PLC. FOR SUPPOSE IF MY ENCODER GIVE 1 PULSE THAN BY USING PLC I WANT 2 PULSES AT THE OUTPUT. SO HOW TO DO THAT????
hi mr Rajvir thank you for all informations, please can you show us how we can command a servopack SGDM 20ADA with a PLC for example S7 300 and a type of signale that we should send from PLC to servopack thank you very much
There are 3 wires ..some senoirs said that u have to attach A and B wires to X0 and X1 ..but ur connecting single wire to X1 that is just A
what type of encoder is in detla asd b2 motor (ecma)
Thank you so much.. :) Do you know about pseudo encoder and how it works?
thanks you , and good work sir
can i know about 2 phase encoder
Thanks for the information, hopefully still can learn more from you.
Ofcourse you can >:)
sir where is RPM video ? I could not find link.
What is the speed limit of encoder working more precisely, how to plc read encoder value if motor is 1000 rpm please explain.
hi sir
can u upload all lectures about delta plc I will be very thankful for you cause I really need them
sir I have delta plc and I want to make a program by using a proximity sensor to control motor rpm. I want that when motor rpm goes equal or greater than 900 rpm my out will on and when it will decrease below 900 rpm output will off. how can I do that please help me
Iam following ur all videos..
Thaq sir, please tell.me how to work with inbuilt potentiometer in delta12sa2 plc
how to calculate rpm using encoder???
Sir, thank you very much. Awaiting for RPM feedback video, as you said in last minute in this video. If link is present for that video, paste here. !
Can you tell me how to program label applicator machine.
Wonderful

Dear sirHow add constant to counter?
This is very interesting to develop one career with. pls how can I benefit to learn this from you? i wish to learn how to program a plc with rotary encoder, vfd (control the speed via a plc), stepper motor and servo motor using a plc.
What about RPM Feedback and Direction Feedback Tutorial
thank you sir i am a beigner of plc so thish video most helpfull for me
and other.
Happy to hear that :)
Sir could you also explain this in stl?
thank u rajiv
Thank u so so much sir making such a nice learning vedio
thank you so much for the video and explanation. I have a question. when we have more than one output, we need to turn on and turn off the system on different angles; How may I write a program to turn on a system on specific degree for example 30 degree, and turn off it on the other specific degree for example 90 degree.
This can be done using compare commands.
Can you tell me what happen when I rotate the encoder in other direction.
And how to wired the encoder when we required forward direction counting up and reverse direction counting down
We have that video tutorials in the full course. More information at this link: nfiautomation.org/courses/learn-plc-in-a-day/
Correction 1 Phase 2 Input ? or 2 Phase 2 Input ?
sunil ragi - Your welcome :) !
SIR, can encoder be used to achieve accuracy in starting the motor from a certain position in a conveyor, for better production?
Yes, ofcourse :)
this is excellent
First of all thank you for this explanation sir...and doubt how to set degree to the servo drive
By sending specific number of pulses :)
I think it is 40 lectures fr delta plc dvp????
Nice video sir, Can you please explain Encoder feedback rpm feedback with allen bradley powerflex70 drive with configuration ?
+Lambro Nandraj yes i would love to, but hardware unavailable
Thanks Rajvir bhai.........great
Your welcome. Get more information on our courses at www.nfiautomation.org
Thank you!
Thank you
I know the difference sir, bt dont know hw to read on plc like high speed counter to use for incremental.
I know its give gray code bt hw to read on plc.
+Davinder Singh Which PLC you are using? There might a wizard to setup high speed input in the software. In that wizard you have to select the counter and set/reset condition. Once you are done, it will automatically generate the code. Wiring details you can find in the encoder manual
i have MItsubishi FX5U PLcwith Servo driver and motor MR J4 20 A ... i want to connect servo driver with plc and software is GXworks 3 please help.

Dear Sir
If I need to use A&B inputs of encoder and count Up/Down for length measurement with a wheel connected encoder. what is the suitable counting type to be selected? 1 Phase 1 Input or 2 Phase 2 Input? Basically I don't need quadrature (4x resolution) only raising edges of Up/Down pulses are enough for my application.
+Rajaji V 2 phase 2 input would be ideal for this type of application.
Ahow to rillay on is k-500 & k500
rom and direction ?????
Thank you sir, could you explain me an application of hsc in siemens s7-200 and s7-300
HSC- is high Speed counter and is generally used to read Encoder pulses!
Very nice knowledge video... Sir
Thank you mr rajivir I know that hsc is a high speed counter which read the encoder pulses but you didn't understand me I need an application to understand it in s7-200 and s7-300
Soon there will be a video with Siemens S7-1200 and Encoder ! But perhaps in the course
Mr Rajivir, you are my favourite professor and so that i bought your automation courses from WWW.UDEMY.COM
thank you sir...please continue ..
Yes Shajeev, at least for next 10 years ;))
Please guide how to save data when plc loses power (plc is running, it loses power)
In this case, you can use retentive variables or database (Mysql)
Sir, how can we use A phase and B phase both at a same function
But why?
Thank You ,a guide for beginners
Cjan
Your welcome !
Hi what is this PLC brand?
which software you are using for ladder logic
WPL Soft!
could you plz tell me how to select encoder
Vikash Kumar I have replied you in your last comment :)
Hello sir, how we can see the position of a machine through the encoder.
You have to convert the encoder feedback into position using derived formula 🌟
Sir Please suggest me a high speed counter for 6 phase rotary encoder (2048 PPR).
One more thing I got better information about position feedback of rotary encoder over all youtube.
+Amit Patel 6 Phase ? Do You mean 3 Phase with negative polarity ? Generally we have 3 phase A, B and C ! If you considered it’s negative edge then it’s 6 phase ! But generally we say only 3 phases! The one I explained is the same
Thanks Sir. I keep disconnected my all three negative wire from counter.
rajvir bhai ...how to reset high-speed UP/DOWN counting
Using reset command as you have seen in this video!
nice video sir
+rajender singh thank you
why we using shift register.
Where do you see shift register?
delta sv2 - 28 plc i m going to use
+Davinder Singh Perfect.. Good luck!
sir what is M1000
M1000 is normally open contact when u give run command its always on
Hello
good work sir

please could make video how make connection
Dear Asan, the wiring is explained in the first few minutes of the video!
Rajvir your vedio to good your knowledge is excillent but two discripancies are there 1 your voice is to low 2 your speaking speed very fast same as frequency 60 HZ
haha Freq 60Hz. Well thanks for the feedback. In my future videos i have tried to speak slow with good quality audio. You can check the new videos in my channel :)
Good tahankyou teycher
I wish u can upload all delta lectures
You can access all Delta lectures in our Online course- Learn 5 PLC's in a Day. Link is here: nfiautomation.org/courses/learn-plc/
we need encoder speed feedback
Hello sir
can you tell us how to read absolute encoder on plc.
+Davinder Singh I wish i could, but we don't use absolute encoder in our lab.
Ok but can you tell us about, hw to program it....
+Davinder Singh I have never tried, must be the similar way ...the only difference is it's value does not get reset on power failure because it retains the value since it starts moving.
THANX
Your welcome :)
what kind of ac servo motor it is.....
We are not using AC Servo motor here. This video is about Encoders.

gracias.
good work sir ...
Thanks Ashish!
+Rajvir Singh (NFI Automation) I AM DOING FIVE EVEL ELEVATOR SYSTEM USING PLC DELTA. I NEED TO KNOW SOME INFORMATION FROM U SIR...
1.WHICH SOFWARE I NEED TO USE TO PROGRAM FOR DELTA COMPANY PLC
2.WHICH MOTOR SHOULD I USE DC OR SERVOMOTOR FOR CLOCKWISE DIRECTION AND ANTICLOCKWISE DIRECTION.
3. AND HOW CAN I STOP THE MOTOR AUTOMATICALLY WHEN THE LIFT IS IN DESIRE POSITION.. FOR THIS WHAT SHOULD I USE TO DETECT THE POSITION OF THE LIFT SO THAT FEEDBACK GOES TO THE PLC AND CORRESPONDINGLY THE MOTOR STOP WHEN THE LIFT COMES IN DESIRE POSITION LEVEL..
PLZZ ANSWER ME SIR .. AND CAN U HELP ME OUT TO COMPLETE THIS PROJECT.. IF THEN SEND ME THE DETAIL FOR THIS PROJECT IF U DO HAVE IN MY EMAILADRESS "MANDALSUNIL201245@GMAIL.COM"...
CAN I ADD U IN FACEBOOK... PLZ SEND ME NA LINK
+dhanush kumar Hello! Well i can guide you a bit here. For the software of delta PLC please goole WPL Soft., you may find free download in the internet.
For the motor i prefer you simple DC motor which can be easily reversible by interchanging it/s poled. If your load is more, you can use gear DC motor.
To detect the position of DC motor you can use limit switches.
I hope this little information will help you to organize your project.
limit switch is very much useful for end and ground floor.. but for others floor can i use proximity sensor??? so that it can sense the position of lift and correspondingly the motor stops according to the user keypad... one more thing sir... if i use gearmotor then should i need motor drive like hbridge or any ic module.. if needed then how to interface that motordrive in plc which is different than the stepper motor dive that i have seen in ur lecture.. its is very costly if i use stepper motor...
+dhanush kumar Yes you can use proximity sensor as well. It's upto you..although it can be done using limit switches as well. You can use simple DC motor and to change it's direction you can use simple relay circuit. If you want to decelerate the speed of DC motor then you need a motor driver. Otherwise just to change the speed and stop-start operation just relays can do the task.
vai thanks
You are welcome!
