No I’ll Explain His Stance To You
He Said That Taqleed Can Be Done To A Mujtahid,
But On The Condition That When It Becomes Clear To You That Your Imam Is Wrong In An Issue,You Leave His Opinion
    Now Your Point Is
How Does This Layman Understand Where His Mujtahid Is Wrong If He Cannot Even Understand And Assess The Evidences? The Hadith Might Be Abrogated..And Other Things Like That
The Answer To This Is That
THIS IS A VALID POINT TO AN EXTENT
Shamsi Never Said That As Soon As You Are Given A Hadith Then You Must Leave Your Mujtahid Then And There,
If You Go To His Other Video Where He Talks To Another Hanafi,You Will See That Shamsi Tells Him That Once A Hadith Is Given To You (Muqallid),If You Say That I Will Investigate,Then IT IS OKAY
So Basically Shamsi Is Saying That You Can Follow A Mujtahid UNLESS AN EVIDENCE Becomes Clear To You
And Don’t Say “How Will Evidences Be CLEAR To A Layman?”
    Sometimes They Are Clear
The Laymen Are Not Absolutely Blind,They Are Not Mentally Retarded

Saying "mentally retarded" just to avoid a response that you know is coming is immature.
For a layman without all the tools of a mujtahid, it cant be made 'clear' to him the evidences. As an example, he doesnt know arabic, so when someone tells him this word in the hadith means (x) and another mujtahid says no it means (y) in this context, the layman cant identify which to go with since he didnt learn the language. He is doing taqlid on this very basic point. Then he is doing taqlid on the gradings of hadith etc... hence it still isnt possible for a layman. Secondly in this shamsi didnt even mention what you are describing hence he is held responsible for making people confused and giving incomplete information as you even stated.

@@MohammadQasim No He Did Mention More Details In The Other Video
      No Listen,
If 2 Mujtahids Differ Over The Meanings Of Words In Arabic,Or Over The Isnaads Of Hadith,Then A Layman Must Follow A Mujtahid
      It Is Obvious
How Can A Layman Go Into Such Issues?
Like The Issue Of Going Into Prostration,Whether To Go Into Prostration With Your Hands First Or Your Knees,The Hadith Says Don’t Go Down Like A Camel,
But The Scholars Differed As To What “Like The Camel Means” And They Differed As To Whether The Camel’s Foreleg Joints Are Considered As His Knees Or Are His Hindlegs Considered His Knees
Now In Such A Complex Matter Of Ijtihaad,The Layman Must Do Taqlid Because He Cannot Give Tarjeeh To An Opinion
      BUT
Your Assumption That Every Issue Is THIS Complex Is False
      It’s A Wrong Assumption
Every Matter Does Not Have A Difference In The Meanings Of Words Or The Isnaads
      Like Shamsi Said
The Issue Of Selling Alcohol To The Kuffar
The Hanafis Believe It Is Permissible
How Do You Justify A Man Who Follows This Opinion EVEN AFTER HE IS SHOWN THE AYAAT AND AHADITH THAT PROHIBIT THIS?

@@MohammadQasim No This Is Not Correct
      See
You Are Assuming That Every Issue Is So Complex That A Man Is Completely Blind In Them
I Am Also Saying That If The Issue Arises Because Of Complex Matters Like If Two Mujtahids Differ On The Arabic Meaning Of A Word Or On The Authenticity Of A Hadith/Reliability Of A Narrator And Other Complex Matters,
Then In These Cases,The Layman MUST DO TAQLID
      This Is Common Sense
      This Is Nothing New
      Nobody Denies It
Like The Issue Of Whether To Go Down On Your Hands Or Your Knees For Prostration
The Hadith Says Don’t Go Down Like A Camel
But The Mujtahideen Differed Over What “Like The Camel” Meant
They Differed As To Whether The Joints Of The Forelegs Of The Camel Should Be Considered His Knees Or Whether His Hindlegs Are His Knees,
      So In Such A Case,
      We Just Follow One Opinion
BUT YOU ARE WRONG IN ASSUMING THAT EVERY MATTER IS THIS COMPLEX
      Some Matters Are Clear Cut.
Like Shamsi Gave The Example Of The Hanafis Having The Opinion That It Is Permissible To Sell Alcohol To The Kuffar
How Do You Justify A Man Who Follows This Opinion EVEN AFTER HE IS GIVEN CLEAR CUT AYAAT AND AHADITH??
