- The pile of foam that was Tim's FMS Beaver flies again, as does Ron's crunched-up Kyosho Calmato. Also this week, two very special guests from Australia and we have fun with the Eachine mini-Mustang.

OMG! We're now legit Celebs!! Appearance on XJet Channel 😍😍😍 Thank you again for spending so much time with us, it was very much appreciated. For anyone reading this comment Bruce spent from 9:30am through to 3:30pm with us. I still can't believe we had so much to talk about. We'll be back!
Fantastic job of Beaver reconstruction well done I was on the edge of my seat during the maiden flight but everything turned out fine .....legend
Getting that Beaver back together was impressive! He said he would and he did!
"catch it with your teeth gordon,,did u bring them?" thats classic :)
The puns were strong in this one, well done Bruce, good giggle.
Always stand directly inline with the prop when testing a glow engine. It's the only way.
what
This vid made my Sunday, thanks!!!
SO much fun watching you guy's! The way the hobby is supposed to be..;)
Great Ron, as always.
Very good Bruce and too much fun happening . I liked the little mustang 🐴
It can't be Peking tape. Peking tape is clear so you can peek through it
love the humour in your videos!! the discussion on packing tape was funny as
Should be easy to modify the transmitter to Mode 1 by swapping the stick over and soldering some pot wires over. Even easier if there are connectors on the pots.
On these cheap transmitters the stick units are soldered to the PCB which means a lot of faffing about. Also, unless you have a way to recalibrate the transmitter after the swap you can end up with issues.
I TREATED MYSELF TO A SET OF CANS...........WOW THAT MUSIC AT THE END WAS EPIC. THAT WAS A GOOD HALF HOUR. CHEERS.
LMAO all the flies swarming on the plane that landed in poop last week.
Pretty amazing that the Beaver was put together. Hopefully it can be trimmed well and fly better than this re-maiden.
I have that Mini Mustang as well, and it's a fun plane. The original design is from Volantex, they also have a nice Sports Cub in about the same size, flies very well for it's size. You can even take off and land from the road, if it's smooth enough.
Great stuff ! And funny too! Thanks for another entertaining fly time.✈👏👏👏👏
i really love the echine/rage/volwhatever the other name is planes, the bangood ones seem to come with 2 or 3 batteries while the rage seem to come with only 1 battery. For the price of them I couldn't believe how well they fly, and the gyro when setup really saves your ass if you don't know how to really fly yet or your just not smart enough to not fly on windy days.
Be nice to see Thomas and Paul they been quiet of late
We've been doing stuff but just finding it hard to get videos edited and published. Will make an effort to get some more regular content out
Cool to see your visiters pop in for interviews.
ill have to check out some vids on foam plane repair
A Fixed Beaver is better than one that is not, Who cares what it looks like, as long as it works. An Ugly Beaver is sometimes a good Beaver. Well done to the Surgeon for the Fix...
Oh, the Beaver flies like a Beaver should fly.
That Mustang looks very close to the ParkZone Mustang I have. Don't fly it anymore though as it's just taken too much beating now and doesn't fly right. So much fun when it did though, so long as there wasn't any wind to speak of (it doesn't have stabilization like this one does).
Carnival at Rio de Janeiro, beavers everywhere
I can confirm. 😬
(Although I'm from Sao Paulo! 😂)
@@MCsCreations but you must know the rules of engagement to get some
Makita was manufacturing a 4-stroke ethanol engine in Brazil for brushcutters. The engine has 1 hp and is very light and economical. And I always think, it would be very interesting to put on an RC plane. These engines are very resistant, they have been working since 2013 without problems.
Brilliant, loved it 👍
Hey Bruce, here in Brazil we have a bird called "Quero Quero"... That fing thing attacks even humans when they have a nest! 😂
And they make the nest on grass... So... 😬
Didn't know humans made nests.... 🤣😂😜😜😜
Love the compliments
We need some of your weather here in the UK,not flown for weeks due to high winds and lots of rain, you have the best flying site anywhere so look after it.
Sunday Funday RC👍🏻
Hi bruce tell him to take the controller apart and swap the gimbals around lol
I love e you guys's banter..
I've seen some beavers in my time but I've never one as BASHED AS THAT... But it works.. Just goes to show YOU CAN'T GO BY LOOKS ALONE
The gynecologist did a great job .That's a well built beaver
Looks like the plane I've been waiting for
For a tiny plane, the mustang flew well. I wanted to see more people having a turn at throwing it, as I noticed a pattern. 1st throw hits the ground, 2nd throw prop flys off, 3rd time is charmed.
Actually, a "click" is military jargon for 1 kilometer.
''klick''
great flying
I’m old but I switched to Mode 2.
Love my little p51 flys great on a jumper
I here Domino's pizza uses drones for delivery in n.z. how tre is it Bruce.?
Wesley Martin They did a trial a couple of years ago that’s all
@@Johnn_T oh, I seen this documentary on what happens to Pappa John's pizza.it was mention in it.i thought I would ask cause I had not Hurd of it.thanks for the info Mr.
Mode 2 4 ever 😉
which 1 is it mode 2 0r mode 4 forever ? LOL
it slowed down when it hit the ground Ron. lol
Its amazing how some glue and tape fixed up that old Beaver. I wonder if I apply some glue and tape will fix up my wife's beaver?
Possibly... but just as with Bill's beaver, it might need trimming afterwards :-)
@@xjet No idea what you guys are talking about!
@@bruceraggett4506 "flaps are up"
@@gmivisualsjason3729 Out of luck today then!

Brian just be careful not to go out of range with your Mini Mustang, usually out of range the motor shuts down, this one will go full throttle.
Mode 1 ....................Cool............
I wonder if the dude on the motorcycle saw the shadow and said WTH
Nah, I asked him and he said he never saw the drone.
Those little Mustangs are beauties. Looked for another 1 from the Oz warehouse but all gone. Plus the price has jumped a good bit - no doubt because of their popularity. :(
Ron flies Mode 2?
Peeking tape........ 🤣🤣🤣😂
Attack of the swallows
oh my god it's thomas from BMSWeb!!!
Safety first, sandals and IC engines 😂😂😂😂😂
Okay, safety second -- *FASHION* first :-)
Where'd you get that? From a box.
That Eachine mustang is now $77 USD on Banggood.
1NZD=.632USD.
Repair any RC plane with duct tape and Gorilla Glue👍😁
is this an advert for gorilla glue?
17:55 i think the rudder might be un-straight
or the motor mount
Tim has a throttle on a switch? Tim has a throttle??
It's only for emergency use :-)
Actually mode 2 is the only way to fly.
Was that DJI footage at the end ?
😊
Mode 2 👍🏽
I fly planes Mode 1 and quads Mode 2
FAA NPRM FAA-2019-1100 reaction with tracking number: 1k4-9f6k-e6iq
In 2005 the first quadcopter was designed by hobbyists. We have made the source code publicly available for all citizens. Our remote planes became more stable and safer than ever before. Big corporations used our open source software to commercialise the industry. Since the first requirements I have stopped flying to focus on my astronomy hobby. This Astronomy hobby is also destroyed by big corporations that send thousands of satellites into the sky for wireless internet services. Beautiful pictures are now destroyed by ugly satellite noise. It is clear to me now that the whole regulation has nothing to do with the safety of people. There is not a single accident that would require the need for these regulations on our hobby. Heavy Amazon delivery drones will cause ugly accidents that are bound to happen because of the commercial volume and weight.
I thought that the 250 gram paper rc plane would not have to carry a remote id beacon but that is not what the big corporations want according to the ARC final report UAS ID September 30, 2017. Corporations want to be sure that every little plane or quad has this unreasonable burden on board so that they can use the sky for their own greedy purposes. Robbing us from this hobby is a little like stealing the land from the indigenous Indians from America. Indians were kind enough to share their land with visitors. Now, big corporations like Amazon plan to steal these ideas from hobbyists. The hobbyist is left with an empty bag.
Some fathers motivate their children to develop an interest in engineering by building remote control planes. Neil Armstrong wrote in a letter to John Worth from AMA: “My model building and flying activities significantly contributed to my interest in aeronautics and was a primary force in directing my education toward aeronautical engineering.”
With a 5 dollar foam board the whole plane needs a 15 dollar battery and a 5 dollar electric motor. The remote control receiver is worth 30 dollar. So with remote-id, children have to buy a 1000 dollar beacon and subscribe to a 40 dollar per month wireless service to make it legal? Retired veterans who have flown for more than 30 years are now bullied out of their hobby. Their old radio equipment is no longer enough to keep the hobby available.
The official FAA tag on every plane is enough to verify our safety procedures. Commercial drones will need a remote id because commercial drones are heavy and dangerous. Please, consider and support the interests of American citizens in this situation.
🔥👍✌️
How come when I click on your link it goes to wigs for "Middle and Old Age Men"? :D
Here.....
Beaver looked tricky
at 2:59, GAS prop. it is not clear whether the thrust line is zero-zero. it is not clear whether the horiz-stab is still, parallel to the main wing.
a click is 1000m(1km) just so you know :)
I crashed my echine drone, they will break. Good thing the part is less than $10
I don't know what the big deal is between mode 1 and mode 2 I fly both. That little poontang better not be the future for rc here in the U.S.
DRONES ARE KILLING THIS HOBBY IN THE USA
Yep, the world's been going to the dogs since they gave women the vote mate! ;-)
