i'm back from the dead with another music video for you guys (sorry if the thumbnail scared you guys)! mad's world is one of my favorite songs that I've written, since I wrote it at a really dark point in my life. I've always seen this song as the bridge between my more fantastical songs (like stacy's brother and killer queen) and the songs I've written about my real emotions and struggles (like in my head and teenage nightmare). when my next EP comes out you'll piece together the full story.

if dysphoria was not crippling, I could have gotten myself out of an unaccepting family. I could have also done so much more in pursuing my passions if it did not hinder me in so many daily activities.
“If I hate myself, I’ll just change in every way”
So many things feel wrong you don’t even know what to do anymore so you just try to please everyone around you and fit in however you can, but it just breaks you further.
“wishing you were never made”
questioning why you were made this way and why you have to go through this when seemingly no one else struggles with their gender
“If I had a normal coming of age, I would be son they dreamed of everyday”
if I was a cis boy and got it live out my childhood and be the eldest son, I would have made the my family proud since Asian families want sons. But because I’m trans, they still don’t accept me and wished I was just a girl.

I feel as if society is scrutinizing trans people, watching their every move, waiting until they can jump in and say the downfall we’ve reached is because of our identity. I also feel like the people who do support me are just doing it to seem nice and their superficial kindness is just there so they can see “how I turn out” my family thinks I’m just going to one day give up and revert back to “my old self”.

people think I’m crazy because they don’t understand me and think I’m doing something crazy but I’m literally just trying to live comfortably and not feel like I hate myself every single moment of my life.
