Anna barely turned 12 years old when she started writing her own songs, a need to give her many feelings a vent. Inspirations were plenty - Dashboard Confessional influenced her just as much as 30 Seconds to Mars. It may be her youth that blurred any style restrictions: Emo, Punk or Gothic have always been equally represented in her music collection - as long as it was true passion that lead the artists.
That is exactly the key element in her songs: they may all just be written by Anna in her room - but there always is that emphasis on true feelings and expressive lyrics.
This candor might be strange for some but it is just this distinction in her thinking, her direct lyrics and her vivid songwriting that make up Anna’s style. A style that speaks directly from the hearts of her many listeners. - Hudba

As someone who only speaks English, I'm gonna say this: I listened to this in English, it was good. I listened to it in German and for some reason, it sounded a lot better. Idk why this is, but I love it.

I found out the English subtitles were on, and realised it is even deeper in German. I love it! It grabs my heart, shatters it into millions of pieces, then Mexican dances on it, and shoves it back in. Why do I love that feeling!?

I think the English one is better, because its all about feeling pain because of unfair treatment, without the sentiment that she's really helpless and that others have to come and save her. The way I see it, the English one is all about how society needs to change, whilst the German one is a bit more about being saved by everyone around (thats my interpretation)

Eine Freundin (diese war zu dem Zeitpunkt 14, warum ich so alte Freunde hatte zu dem Zeitpunkt? Hab nur ältere Geschwister) das Lied "so allein" . Dieses bewegte mich sehr, so bis heute. German is a hard language (not for me because i am german and don't speak english veary god XD)

When I first listened to this song in German, I still new very little of the language but now, it's amazing how I understand pretty much every single word. Half a year... It actually makes me proud of my achievement, something that I rarely am.
When I first heard the English version I was in such a bad place... But amazingly, Anna Blue and Damien's songs, and even the small stories that I bought from her official website, helped me so much! I don't think that I would still be on this Earth if I hadn't found the "Silent Scream"... For once, I didn't feel alone anymore.

Habe die englische Version schon geliebt, auf deutsch ist der Song genauso klasse.Sicher weißt du, was für eine Möglichkeit der Flucht du vielen Zuhörern so bietest, aber ich wollte es einfach nochmal sagen und dir von ganzem Herzen dafür danken.
Diese Zeit ist bei mir einige Jahre her, habe jetzt erst dieses lied gefunden, ich muss sagen auf englisch wie auf deutsch musste ich weinen weil es einfach so wahr ist und man es so stark nachvollziehen kann.
Ich habe den Song schon vor 6 Jahren so gefühlt, ich konnte mich in gewisser Weise damit identifizieren, aber jetzt noch viel mehr! Meine mentale Instabilität wurde von Jahr zu Jahr immer schlechter und es interessiert niemanden aus meiner Familie. Ich fühle mich so verloren und niemand versucht auch nur mir zu helfen!
Ich hoffe sehr, dass du irgendwann jemanden findest, der bei dir sein wird und versuchen wird dich zu verstehen

Uff. aus irgend welchen Gründen wurde mich das Video heute vorgeschlagen.. Ich hab dann einfach mal reineghört. Das Lied bewegt ein richtig, schade das ich es erst, jetzt ~2.5 jahre später, gesehen habe.
I'm 26 with a 10-year-old. It's odd (not odd) to listen to the same music she does. She has it rough sometimes with life-changing, she's changing, people coming and going, covid keeping her out of school and feeling confused and unable to speak up. I know you may believe that your parents don't get it, but we do. We forget sometimes with life buzzing around, but I know how she feels. I remember how she feels. It wasn't so long ago that I was her. I introduced her to Anna Blue a couple of years ago because I figured she will one day need the music, but she couldn't fully relate or understand at the time. Over the next couple of years, I would sit her down, just the two of us, close our eyes, and listen to music. Not all things are easily spoken, but when you add the right notes you can speak volumes over anything you are facing. Anna Blue helped me back when I was just a teenager trying to figure things out, as a new mom, a high school student, and apart of the marching band (a Band Geek's 2nd home). It was overwhelming. Along with many other songs, I was able to pull myself up. Of course, having her by my side made things a little better since she was the motivation that sparked the life I have now! I appreciate Anna Blue for getting me through the rough times. They say, 'your trials and tribulations are testimonies for others'. I don't know what Anna may have been through in her past, but she has always 'got' me and now....ten years later, my daughter has someone to relate to as well when she can't find the right words. I found this song in 9 grade about 4 years after my dad had died thusly ending a bad era and throwing me into what seemed like the end of the world. But when i found this song i finally found an outlet to let go of some of that pain i was feeling and being able to sing it in front of my mom who doesn’t understand a bit of german so she wouldn’t criticize me. Now, 4 years later, i can sing this song and not feel as much pain and realize how far i have come and continue to wonder “where will i go from here” to continue my healing process.

Das Lied ist wirklich wunderschön und erinnert mich an meine geliebte Freundin Carolin.
Ich hab sie leider verloren und hab bis heute davon nicht mehr erholt. Es ist jetzt 5 Jahre her und es tut immer noch weh. Ich vermisse sie immer noch und denke immer noch jeden Tag nur an meine Carolin. Sie ist eine liebevolle Mädel und sie war für mich wie eine Schwester gewesen. Ich liebe Caro immer noch vom ganzem Herzen und sie wird immer im meinen Herzen bleiben.
Leider bin ich erst jetzt auf dieses Lied gestossen...Aber bei den Worten "die perfekte kleine rosa Prinzessin", bin ich in Tränen ausgebrochen. Meine Eltern versuchen die ganze Zeit, ein "richtiges Mädchen" aus mir zu machen und langsam zerstört mich das innerlich. In der Schule habe ich mit extrem viel Hass zu kämpfen, da an der ganzen Schule bekannt ist, dass ich auf Mädchen stehe. Es tut so weh, dass alle versuchen mich zu ändern. Und weil dieses Lied all meinen Frust wiederspiegelt, liebe ich es einfach♥

Ich fühle mich durch das Lied nicht mehr allein mit meinen Gefühlen... Das Lied erzählt mein Ganzes Leben und ich kann mich mit jedem Wort in dem Lied vergleichen. Das Lied "so allein" hat mich auch sehr bewegt. Ich habe jedes mal viel nachgedacht bei deinen Liedern..
