Put some respek on Canibus' name, he is as much of a legend as EMINEM. I have endless respect for Canibus, he battled against LL (who even back then was considered the G.O.A.T.) before even having a career. I put him in the same category as NaS, JAY Z and EMINEM. His lyrical content is unmatched to this day!

My music taste was mainly rock and roll but one of the main reasons for me branching out and listening to hip hop and rap was your videos and this channel so I thank you for that! Anyway a famous rock and roll beef was between the bands Blur and Oasis. They bought singles out on the same day and the beef grew from there. Its rare in rock that bands make direct references to one another in songs but they were some pretty big shots fired. Noel Gallagher said that he hoped Damon died of AIDS. Pretty crazy but the biggest reason for the fallout was class. Oasis were seen as working class but Blur was seen as middle class and I was wondering if class was ever a reason for some rap beef? Keep the awesome content coming!

Jason Borne Kool killed LL with death blow. It needed better production but it was so much better lyrically than anything LL had done. Moe Dee was really lyrical now that I look back on him. The Too $hort beef was weird for me, as I never expected $hort to in fact partake in beef, yet he showed to everyone he could rap about more than just pimping, love him man. The best songs from this beef is U.N.L.V's I'm bout it and P.N.C.'s Talk that shit now.
Both songs are great as they paint a picture to the listener as to why they are beefing and/or the cause of the beef. Instead of focusing on just name calling.

Man, you ain't neva lied. Plus Nas had a tendency to borrow pretty early in his career. Pac accused him of it. Jay accused him of it. I gave you power is the same concept of Organized Konfusion's stray bullet. he and Pharoahe are both from queens. Pac never turned imaginary gangsta. He had the Thug Life movement, It would be tough for Nas to reach into the lyrical utility belt and use consciousness as a weapon. Between simultaneous battles with Pac and Big, his career could've been short lived.

Heh Justin. How are you?.Late today have been work.Beefs yumm.My first rap beef was Roxanne Wars, bullshit but fun.BDP X Juice Crew /L.L vsKMD great beefs.Common vs Ice Cube NWA vs Cube. All of Queens have fallen out Tragidy vs Nore vs Nas vs Comega vs Mobb Deep etc.2nd Round K.O is fucking heat L.L was a dick.Later was Jada vs Beanie (something the Lox a dress on their last LP) then the way 50 and later extended Shady/Aftermath family ended Murder Inc (I know that the FBI shit helped but I didn't know about that at the time)was cold.Ice T vs L.L ,Lil Flip vs T.I,Jeezy vs Gucci, and thats not going close to all the Chiraq beefs (or Rico Reckless taking Fiddys How To Rob steez ) anywhere theres been some ones some of the best ever Hip Hop was made as a result of beef, the anger and need to wound the oponent as badly does something to bring out the best (and worst, today Instra beefs). And best Joey Bada$$ freestyle on Sway going at Troy Ave).Great show again JLH and Jude. Loved every minute.Take care.

Canibus vs EMINEM was amazing as well, but i get the one against LL as he literally battled the GOAT at the time without even having a career, gotta have some balls to do that.

Why doesn't anyone EVER talk about how Bone stole their ENTIRE style from Freestyle Fellowship? Check F.F.'s 'Mary', Micah 9's verse says it all.

Another beef that a thought was somewhat interesting was Eminem's and Canabis' feud. Not one i hear talked about much.

The Company Man Media true that. Shame that canabis is only remembered for his history of dissing top rappers but never reaching there height of fame.
